From the film: the forecast cost of various sickness benefits (for all ages)

These figures are a lie, too! Who on earth gets £1300 to £1400 a month?? It's a lie to kick the sick and disabled.

Basic UC+PIP+LCRWA gets you there quite easily.

You don’t give a fck about disabled people! Many of whom are in poverty even with benefits and still face extra costs Fck you & this program Disabled benefit claimants face enough hardship with constant scrutiny, vilification & abuse from the media without you adding to the mix!

Let me tell you and all the others who demonise those who are sick and disabled, l was unwell for 5 years before l was diagnosed with with a very serious chronic long term condition, l have had 14 operations to keep me alive, l will sadly never be well enough to work as l take a cocktail of life saving drugs to keep me alive every damn day, l suppose you think l am fit for work like all he others with serious long term conditions.

If you're off sick - with chronic sickness, like me. No treatment, no hope of getting better - are you comfortable with the government's plans? I'm not. It's all the old Victorian deserving/ non-deserving poor and sick. Again. Thought we were a civilised society who'd moved on.

So, Fraser, how much of the documentary did you dedicate to investigating the impact of millions of people being 'economically inactive' due to long COVID, and the personal impact of two successive governments portraying them as lazy drains on society?

Fucking disgusting. You by the way. Not the people on benefits. This is nothing but disgusting, ableist bullshit. Congratulations on putting something out that is just going to make shit WORSE for us disabled on benefits. What a fucking cunt.

Why now Fraser? The Labour Govt. is just 4.5 months old but the benefit system has been in place throughout the 14 yrs of Conservative governments so if reform was needed why didn't it get reformed by them? Surely your report is on the mess left for Labour by the Tories.

Demonising unemployed people (which includes disabled and chronically ill people) is VILE
