My colleagues have put forward proposal after proposal that would address Social Security’s impending insolvency. We must do what we were sent to the Senate to do and actually debate and vote on these ideas.

Displacement orders were issued to several schools serving as shelters near Friends of the Patient Hospital on Friday evening in Gaza City, coinciding with an Israeli military attack near the Al-Nour Center in the Al-Rimal neighborhood. Families were forced to flee the area in the middle of the night carrying scant belongings. One man being displaced with his family said: “We were rejoicing before when we heard that Hamas accepted the proposal and we were happy. All of a sudden they were saying we have to leave the area and we found ourselves leaving the place we were in and I don’t know where we are going to go. Me and my wife and kids, and my daughter and kids where are we going to go? We have no where to go. One thing I agree with my Democrat colleagues on is that for the last eight months, the House of Representatives has been poorly led. We own that, and we have to do something about it.
