Someone figured out how to run Claude Fable 5 and GPT-5.6 together inside ChatGPT Codex and the setup takes 5 minutes. Two commands get you started: → codex plugin marketplace add Cjbuilds/Codex-Orchestration → codex plugin add codex-orchestration@codex-orchestration From there you set an advisor model for the expensive thinking and an executor model for the cheaper implementation. Paste the workflow prompt, describe the task and both models handle their side automatically. Fable 5 plans. A cheaper model executes. You get the best of both without paying flagship prices for every token.

SITUATION EXPLAINED: Coatue just published a chart showing how fast AI agents are replacing internal white-collar functions at OpenAI itself. • Chart tracks what percent of OpenAI's internal output tokens are generated by Codex vs ChatGPT • Engineering crossed 50% Codex usage at end of 2025, now basically 100% Codex for engineering • Finance, recruiting, and legal didn't start ramping until February 2026, but are now nearly as high as engineering Theo Jaffee: "Agentic AI platforms are eating a lot of white-collar functions and not just engineering."

Black Friday is coming to CapCut Desktop: up to 60% OFF starting Oct 20. The next AI workflow experiment: How Codex works in your editor. The challenge: Create viral-style AI character content. The workflow: Open ChatGPT → connect CapCut with the CapCut plugin for ChatGPT → let Codex operate CapCut PC. Then: Codex controls CapCut PC → generates the character with GPT Image 2.5 → creates the video with AI Video → automates the editing workflow → final polish in CapCut PC. The demo shows the full process: How Codex calls CapCut PC. How the assets are created. How the final video comes together. Because the future of AI creation isn't only about what AI makes. It's about how AI helps you create inside your editor. #capcutpc #capcutchatgptplugin #capcutcodex #capcutmarketing #capcutsale

Codex has come a long way since April. Over the next two weeks, we’re releasing a series of videos to help you get better acquainted with Codex — starting with how to use the Codex CLI with GPT-5-Codex.

GPT 5.4 has been released... + 1M context window! Here's how to enable in Codex: → 1. ~/.codex/config.toml → 2. model = "gpt-5.4" → 3. model_context_window=1000000 → 4. model_auto_compact_token_limit=9000000 Run codex → 5. /statusline → 6. toggle context-window-size I didn't even realise Codex had a statusline tool!

I put Codex into DOOM using Codex app server. Codex modified the actual game files and modified the game engine to render the terminal interface natively and have Codex engage with the game.

Units are universally agentic. Your Unit can now be integrated with most tools that support custom model providers, including Cursor, Codex CLI, VS Code, and more. Here's Codex CLI setup in 30 seconds

Laptop closed. Agent still working. 103 legal contracts reviewed in 40 minutes. Most AI agents stop the moment you close your laptop. This one does not. See how DigitalOcean, @chatgptapp Codex, and Box work together to autonomously process a stack of contracts while you step away. The new DigitalOcean Codex plugin makes droplet provisioning a one-click affair. - DigitalOcean: always-on compute for long-running agents - Codex: the harness driving the workflow - Box: the governed content layer (contracts in, review packets out) Timestamps: 00:09 – Workflow setup 01:23 – Provision DigitalOcean droplet for long-running tasks 02:45 – Connect Codex to Box with Box MCP 03:01 – Start a remote session on Codex 03:26 – Implement the legal workflow 05:00 – Review the work 06:05 – Conclusion

I love when Codex outsmarts me! Asked Codex to hack this badge that I got from Temporal's conference by putting Codex pets on it. I also gave it a photo of the badge along with it. Codex found the actual firmware of the badge on GitHub to have a starter 😂

The new 2026 AI workflow 🤖⚡ GPT Image 2.0 → assets → Codex + GPT-5.5 → playable browser game 🎮 I turned my AI image into a web game. 🖼️ GPT Image 2 created the visual. 🎨 Codex generated the sprites and animations. 🕹️ GPT-5.5 built the prototype.

Here's my favorite Codex Skill i've created (This is very specific to my workflow, not sure how useful you guys will think it is) /todo allows me to organize all the tasks my agents do along with the documents it creates and deep links to the session it was created. I post all my skills here @chorusskills

Quick demo of how I use Pi to offload tasks to Codex CLI with the pi-interactive-shell extension. Codex is notoriously tricky to prompt well so Pi reads the Codex prompting guide to generate a tailored meta-prompt, then launches Codex CLI in an overlay. pi install npm:pi-interactive-shell
