![The Sin Trade 追恶 [2026] Directed By: Cheng Siyi Finally caught up to this. Part of the new school of Action directors in Mainland China, Cheng Siyi has been making a name of for himself over the past few years. Especially with his 2024 film "Desperado". So far, this is his best output, since he got a fellow director and action choreographer to do the action direction for this film. And when you get a combo like that you sure are going to get a banger. Plenty of action in this film about human trafficking and with the case with Chinese DTV that's usually one of the themes they go with on thier output. Drugs, Human trafficking or Sniper Films, lol. This is currently streaming the West and East on iQIYI. ![100 Yards 门前宝地 [2024] Directed By: Xu Haofeng Following the same beats with his previous film the Final Master [2015] in settling disputes in the art of fighting. Xu Haofeng is one of the few action directors that does the action in using traditional styles and weapon usage in his films that are beautifully shot, composed and framed. You are not going to see hyper fighting, high wire action or MMA. This is old school, with methods displaying how to beat said style that makes you look back on how the counterattack was perform. Very reminiscent of what Bruce Lee was conveying in his short filmography to an extent. The fluid motions of the attacks, the setups and the fights having a very grounded approach truly makes this film shine and stand on its own from the rest that was released this year. This is truly Andy On's best on-screen film performance. Well Go USA Entertainment has the rights for this film and you know they will bless the Digital and Physical release of this film. ![Detective Chen 2 [2026] Directed By: Ashton Chen Currently streaming on iQIYI and man Ashton Chen is definitely not trying to be left behind in the output of action cinema out there and with action choreography by one of the greats in Mainland China, Qin Pengfei. What a year Chinese Action DTV is having, and Ashton has delivered a few bangers already this year.
