We already have a digital Euro, banktransfers and bankcard payments are digital. The planned “digital Euro” is only a means of expanding control over every person’s spending whereby spending can exactly and in detail be pinpointed and “corrected” by taxation based on for example a persons CO2 scoreboard but also block payments for certain goods or services.

Well, first she talked about clients. How is it possible for a central bank to have « clients ». This is not part of the ECB mandate therefore this is illegal until the opposite is proven. Second, she replied in another interview a couple of years ago ago. She talked about her son who was deep into crypto.
