@bex_kate @JDRFUK @bloodcancer_uk @BattenDiseaseuk @YorkshireBTC Great stuff 👍 My Son Harry was diagnosed at 9, he's 21 now. Things have really changed 👍 He uses a Omnipod and Dexcom, it really helps.

@bex_kate @JDRFUK @bloodcancer_uk @BattenDiseaseuk @YorkshireBTC Dignosed as #T1D at 25 and now 63. Once into the swing of pricks and stabs I took up skiing because I wanted to boss it and not have it boss me. Then went skydiving! 30,000 injections, still here, still in charge. HBA1C 48. Miss cake though.

@bex_kate @JDRFUK @bloodcancer_uk @BattenDiseaseuk @YorkshireBTC Diagnosed type 1 at 28, got so low I've became an alcoholic now 31, didn't cope at all, had no help , COVID came in, I didn't blink twice what diabetes is,..... Now here I am, well done you tho x

@bex_kate @JDRFUK @bloodcancer_uk @BattenDiseaseuk @YorkshireBTC Diagnosed with type 1 at age of 12. Never fully appreciated the impact on my cricket until later. It's doable and manageable but diabetics need support from central Government (NHS) rather than charity donations and goodwill Sort it out Tory Government
