My Dear Non Kannadigas. If you want to settle in Karnataka/Bengaluru learn basic Kannada. Speak with the natives in the local language and then see the warmth you get. If a Brazilian girl learns kannada and speak with the locals why can't you?

My Dear Kannadigas, not just kannada, we all should learn a few other languages like asamese, oriya, punjabi, bengali, marathi, tamil, telugu, rajasthani, gujarati, malayalam... but do learn Hindi and feel the warmth everywhere you travel not just across India around the world.

Sir we do learn the language of the native state we want to settle. We respect the native language. We expect the same from others. Simple

I’m a Telugu and I don’t think you need to learn how to speak the local language but instead need to learn and show a willingness to communicate, whether through spoken language or sign language!!

I have travelled to Karnataka, and when you speak basic Kannada with them, they automatically start talking in Hindi with you when they see you struggle.
