Douglas MacGregor is sorely needed in the US government to provide rational and sane foreign policy and national security advice that isn't tainted by special interest and lobbying influence.

Ukraine is a foregone conclusion. In middle east United States is a Pariah.

But they do have a strategy, chaos. Creative destruction, followed by order out of chaos.

The Chinese built the overland Silk Road as a counter to American control of the sealanes. Shutting down those two choke points Bab/Hormuz do not matter as much to China. In fact shutting them down might lead to more trade overland. Increasing silk road traffic.

I do wish there was another US or EU General you could interview. Macgregor's racism is so obvious it make it difficult to listen to the rest of what he has to say.
