reminds me of that vercel sidebar pattern they introduced a while back, had a similar peek behavior and adjusted itself on click

vercel also has insane attention to details

That UX is so satisfying to see. I first saw it on the @supabase dashboard.

a sidebar that peeks open on hover is such a nice detail. more room for the data and you never lose the nav

MIRACLE CHIKI 🇳🇬5 days ago

Can shadcn add this to the sidebar component?

Orel Hassid6 days ago

I first saw it in Codex sidebar

So nice. Does this mean it’s never used in a collapsed state? bc when you hover over it, it expands automatically

Holy smokes, Claude Design is really good!! I took the site I made recently, which had pretty bad UI/UX in the initial version (unintuitive, poor mobile experience, etc.) and, with a bit of interactive back and forth, made a much better UI layer for it:

Last year I spent some time recreating Chowdeck’s website and prototyping every single element the way it was. This exercise really helped me a lot, if you’re looking at getting better with UI design, I recommend personal task like this.

This is one of my favorite areas in Ironforge. The planes taking off from the Military Ward is such a great little detail. I did have to add all the SFX though, because there isn't really much in way of SFX for this as it's from Vanilla. I love Ironforge so much.

I added the menu screen and loading sequence from the original game now! Reworked the whole UI translation layer too, which handles the most wanted UI, it works MUCH better now. #Roblox #RobloxDev

Andrew Tate reveals the diet that changed his entire life: “I feel so much better, so much more energetic, stronger, everything. I look better… I wish I knew about this when I was still fighting. It would’ve changed everything, really.”

What the heck are the feeding these models? This is the most novel and unique result I’ve seen from any model till now for this front-end test No design or UI element is generic and I have gotten so mediocre results from other frontier models for this exact same prompt

Here's my full 40 minute Cybercab ride today from downtown Austin to North Austin (at 2x speed). FSD handled everything perfectly. Cybercab is by far my favorite robotaxi experience. It's really comfortable. The 22-inch screen really makes watching content so much better.

🐨 About the artworks... 🐨 I tried to keep this house very minimal 🐨 so I think I only got about 10 paintings. 🐨 Unlike my previous house, I wanted it to be minimal, calm, and dim. 🐨 Because as you live, adding things and filling things up is easy, but taking away what you already have is really hard. 🐨 I think it's really hard to do less, so I decided to start by removing as much as possible, and then fill it in later. 🐨 But in this house, the more I add, the more the interior feels damaged. 🐨 So I don't think I'll add too much.

ABSOLUTE BATMAN VS BANE 🦇 Happy Batman Day! 🖤 I’ve recently started getting more into sound design and adding SFX to my animations. I feel like it adds so much more immersion to the scenes.

I love this so much. You totally see people go from the mask to the light they really are. Makes my heart glow. I physically feel myself get lighter when doing this IRL. 🥰🎈

You all know how much I love my fishing. But this is too much. Takes away from the whole experience when there’s too many people. I prefer a much smaller crowd and don’t want it to be too easy.

I took a lot of inspiration from the Cloudflare dashboard command palette when building my own. One enhancement I made is that the ">" character is an explicit scope change token. So you can type: [part of project name] > [part of action name] to drill down quickly. Super pumped about it!
