Nuance. Not sure I agree with you on this, in that I think a majority of people do a job because it pays the bills and allows them to pursue what they love outside of their job. It often boils down to necessity. The measure of the employee is, even if they don’t love their job, do they still show up and give it their best because they are driven by a moral compass that requires this.
