Bardinette you're an asshole stop forcing your team to not PANIC about toplane while you get them fed 😡😡😡 All the criticism has been frankly quite weak and baseless you lot live in a tiny tiny box with nothing new at the horizon

I've only loosely been able to follow the bard top situation but as someone who got unfairly attacked for playing off meta champions and playstyles my whole career (nothing this controversial tho), i feel your pain. In my head, this is a twist on the old Taric mid + Master Yi jg strat, in the sense that you are giving up one lane in the conventional sense to create advantages elsewhere in the game. Often the Taric mid would get zero farm and just funnel it to Yi. It was not fun to play with or against but it won games efficiently (so much so that Chinese boosters would always be spamming it). If Mr. Roaming Bard Top tries his best and has a solid winrate in high elo, I think it's fair game even if not everyone is happy to have him in their game. People would often absolutely hate playing with my Vayne top or Kassadin mid (Junglers would rage type / afk often because Kassadin was stuck under turret while they get invaded etc and no one else played Kass + just speaking from personal experiences, not saying directly comparable, its just adjacent imo) but I would come thru and often turbo carry with like 60-70% winrates. My point is I think Bardinette is pretty alright all things considered and it feels like getting more hate than warranted. For me, you're cool if you try your best every game and I don't really care too much what you play, in those moments its just one more game in the infinite sea of games we've all played in our lifetimes. Do you also 100% tryhard and try to win whenever your bard is banned or picked and pick Warwick or Illaoi and end the game 0-12 and then leaving the lane while you make fun of it on stream?
