@ReconGamesUK @ECISTNetwork I read it all .You mention ‘All patients’ can you qualify.Who do you see getting the most benefit from this leaflet .This is important because leaflets can be a very useful tool but can also sit on the locker/ table gathering dust if, the ‘how’ isn’t part of the aspiration?

I initially planned to donate beds, but due to supply challenges in Kumasi, I consulted with hospital management. They advised that wheelchairs would be just as essential in improving patient mobility and care. Today, I am proud to donate these wheelchairs to support the hospital and its patients. .World Health Organization (WHO) and partners reached Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern #Gaza two days ago, amid hostilities and explosions in the vicinity of the hospital during the mission. The team delivered 5000 liters of fuel, food and medicines, and transferred 3 patients and 6 companions to Al-Shifa Hospital. In the last week, four WHO missions to Kamal Adwan have been arbitrarily denied, including the re-deployment of the international emergency medical team, which had self-evacuated from the hospital on 6 December due to hostilities. This has left the hospital without specialized personnel for surgical and maternal care. Hostilities around the hospital continue and recent attacks have further damaged the oxygen supply, generators, and broken windows and doors of the patients' rooms. The conditions in the hospital are simply appalling. We urge for the protection of health care and for this hell to stop! Ceasefire!

The patient (in orange left her sickbed to go for a short call) and then: An unidentified individual was able to: * Enter the hospital without proper registration * Bypass security and reception protocols * Access a private patient ward without authorization * Steal a patient's personal property (iPhone 16 Pro Max) This raises serious questions about patient safety and security procedures within the facility. Hospitals are meant to be safe environments, especially for patients who are already in a vulnerable condition. The most troubling part is the lack of response and assistance from the hospital following the incident. No meaningful support, accountability, or clear explanation has been provided so far. 1. How is it possible for an unregistered individual to freely access patient areas? 2. What security measures are actually in place to protect patients and their belongings? 3. Why has there been no proactive effort to resolve or even properly address this incident? This situation reflects a concerning lapse in basic security protocols and patient protection standards. My commitment to ending the no-bed syndrome in Ghana As a country, we must begin to speak more honestly about the painful reality confronting our healthcare system, the persistent “no-bed syndrome.” It is unacceptable that in this day and age, a Ghanaian in critical condition can be turned away from a hospital simply because there is no bed available. Over the years, I have made it a personal responsibility to contribute in my own way to easing this burden. At the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, I supported the Oncology Department with $145,000 cash and about 200 hospital beds to improve emergency and inpatient care. At the Ho Teaching Hospital, Agogo Hospital in the Ashanti Region, Tamale Teaching Hospital, Assin Fosu Roman Catholic Hospital and many more, I donated beds, wheelchairs and essential medical consumables to enhance patient care and comfort. During the COVID-19 period, I also extended support across the country with beds, PPEs and other medical logistics valued at approximately one million dollars.
