I can see a future where no human ever has to build, drive, charge, clean, or service a Tesla Cybercab. It could one day look a little something like this… 1/ Tesla Bots build the Cybercabs. Cybercab has been in production at Giga Texas since Q2. Last quarter, Tesla started producing Optimus on its high-volume lines in Fremont. Today, Tesla is building both. My bet is that eventually, one helps build the other. 2/ Cybercabs go out and give rides on their own. Cybercab joined Tesla’s Austin Robotaxi fleet just last quarter, and since then, Texas now has 544 Cybercabs registered for the service, more than the 507 Model Ys today. 3/ They charge themselves. Cybercab is designed for wireless charging… Elon described it at We, Robot in 2024, “It just goes over the inductive charger and charges.” And in February, the FCC granted Tesla a waiver for the positioning technology that aligns the car with the charging pad. Plans for an Austin Robotaxi hub will include infrastructure to support 80 wireless chargers. 4/ Tesla Bots clean and service the fleet. People still clean the cars today, and Tesla has filed plans for a dedicated Cybercab car wash near Las Vegas. Now picture Optimus cleaning the cabin, handling routine maintenance, charging, and getting each car ready for its next ride. So Tesla Bots build Cybercabs, the car drives itself to a pickup and drop off customers, it charges itself, and Tesla Bots take care of it… I’ve been a Tesla investor for over 10+ years and when Elon tells me Optimus and Cybercab will be the vast majority of Tesla’s value, I can see the pieces of this future being built at the same time… and how they could all work together. HODL $TSLA.

Tesla designed the Cybercab so a blind person can ride without needing any help. And you can see that in the hardware. Inside the Cybercab, the door release has a warning-triangle door icon and Braille that reads OPEN. Lift it lightly and the butterfly door opens. Pull it all the way to the second detent and it becomes the mechanical emergency release, meaning it can still open the door even if the car has zero power. Your fingers can tell you exactly what it is before you pull it. Then look overhead. Between the dome lights is another button. Braille says STOP. Press it and Cybercab requests an immediate pull-over, ends the ride, and connects you with Robotaxi Support. Think about why those two controls matter so much… There’s no steering wheel. There’s no pedals. There’s no driver sitting up front to ask for help. So Tesla made sure a blind passenger can physically find the two most important controls, identify them by touch, and use them independently. The Tesla team didn’t stop there… The doors can also automatically open when your phone approaches it. The Robotaxi app works with screen readers. The seats are positioned around wheelchair height. There’s room in the cabin for a service animal and trunk space for things like a folded wheelchair or cane. Voice and audio cues can replace information you would normally need to see on a screen. Cybercab accessibility is a core part of the product and experience design… Elon even told us the goal is to make sure Cybercab meets the needs of the blind. Tesla even once brought a production Cybercab to the National Federation of the Blind convention in Austin so blind attendees could actually get inside, touch the controls, and experience it themselves. True autonomy is not true freedom if you still need another person beside you just to use it. Cybercab is the definition of true autonomy.

I still can’t believe the entire outer body of the Cybercab is PLASTIC. I think this is the first production Tesla vehicle built this way. Tesla molds the COLOR directly into the panels using reaction injection molding. Far from a traditional paint shop. A process that can take hours with normal automotive paint can now take minutes. Tesla says this cuts manufacturing emissions for those parts by around 35% and eliminates the paint VOCs from the traditional process. And before anyone says, “But what about safety?” The plastic exterior is not the crash structure. The massive front and rear giga castings underneath are doing that job. I rode in the Cybercab myself. Trust me, it does NOT feel cheap at all. It actually makes you realize what Tesla is trying to do here. Fewer parts. Fewer manufacturing steps. No traditional paint shop. Faster production. Lower cost. The unboxed process… This is so much more than Tesla just using plastic to make a cheap car. Tesla is completely rethinking how you build millions of robotaxis.

Bro… this is what I see: • Deliveries are up +25% YoY to a RECORD second quarter. • Revenue is up +26% YoY to $28.2B, pushing Tesla above $100B in trailing 12-month revenue for the FIRST TIME EVER. • FSD subscriptions up +56% YoY to 1.48 million, with a record 55%+ attach rate on new North American Tesla deliveries. • Energy storage deployments up 41% YoY, with Megapack demand continuing to grow. • Services revenue up 50% YoY, becoming a larger, higher-margin part of the Tesla’s business. • Robotaxis are now operating across seven major metros, with Cybercab production officially underway. • Optimus production lines are being installed this year. • And despite investing more aggressively than ever, Tesla still finished the quarter with $43.5 billion in cash. Sure, margins were under pressure. And yes, free cash flow was negative. But this is bc Tesla is spending $ billions building AI infrastructure, expanding factories, ramping Cybercab, Optimus, batteries, and compute. The Tesla team is investing to build and be the leader for the next decade. Always remember, the biggest returns rarely come from buying when everything feels safe… they come from buying when everyone seems to be shitting their pants, while the fundamentals remain intact. NFA, of course… it’s just my two cents from a nobody. But I’m bullish then ever on the future of Tesla.
