Same job for both agents, sourcing from 200 posts across Reddit and X. Codex with gpt 5.6 sol took 13m43s. Yet Deepseek v4 flash took 5m19s. Don't forget gpt 5.6 sol is $30 per million out, while the flash is $0.28. No pressure. Just math. OpenAI Developers Good job DeepSeek. you just kill the game

I LOVE Deepseek-v4-flash, incredibly reliable and capable, logical. It's lacking in frontend but I have MiMo for that. I would recommend any company spending 100k+ a year on AI to purchase 8-10~ 6000s and have a few of the works to have them blind test these models for work.

holy shit this is a f**king gold mine I replaced opus 5 with deepseek v4-flash, it's basically free and someone figured out a way to run it's subagents as a self-improving loop inside codex [the setup takes 2 mins here is how] 1. clone the repo 'codex-self-imrpoving-loop' 2.give the '3 loop workflow' image to your agent 3. voila you are done save this no matter what. it'll be the most productive thing you do this week
