@Arch_Revival_ @michael_diamant Well done! I love what is happening here. ⭐️ My church is doing this in the US. Building something radically different - that is, something traditional and beautiful. The CA architect was chosen for ability to design classical structures today. Great growing movement!

Did you know that Norway and other European countries have a revolt against communist-style architecture? The Architectural Rebellion began in Sweden in 2014 and has since spread to Norway, Denmark, Finland and beyond. It is a grassroots movement born out of frustration with modernist, monotonous, concrete-dominated cityscapes, especially in housing and urban planning. At its core, the movement is about more than aesthetics, it is about ideology. Post-war modernism was deeply influenced by collectivist and socialist ideals: functionality over beauty, efficiency over identity, uniformity over tradition. The result has been soulless blocks and sterile public spaces that alienate rather than inspire. The Architectural Rebellion argues for a return to classical and human-centered design, buildings with detail, history and a sense of belonging. It’s not only a cultural fight, but also a democratic one: why should people be forced to live in environments they find ugly, uninspiring and depressing, imposed by planners and elites in the name of progress? What began as an online protest has grown into a cultural counter-movement, reshaping debates about how Europe’s cities should look and who gets to decide.

I uploaded a copy of the first draft to YouTube as an unlisted video, so that several people could review it before I finalize and upload it publicly. SVT Sweden has released a full length documentary about the 764 network and its connection to a serial stabber in Hasselby. Thank you to Linus Svensson with SVT Nyheter for featuring my story (and for making a subtitled version for me!) Sweden is the 4th non-US country to feature 764 in mainstream media in an effort to warn the public of this danger. American MSM is still oddly silent on the matter.
