So this is a little different for me…I don’t often cover other people’s songs to share on my “socials”. But every so often a song comes along that moves me, inspires me and reminds me again of the power of music and why I love it so much…and I find myself walking around singing it. This powerful new song from Mumford and Sons new album which is amazing by the way) hit me hard…I “felt” it in a deep way…so I grabbed a guitar, fired up the iphone camera and decided to share an SCC version with you. 3 years ago this month, I dropped “Love Cycle” ❤️ No one believed in this song when I first dropped it, but I had a gut feeling about it. 🐰 i worked a lot with El Guincho. I got to listen to a lot of tracks and i was really wowed by just how fresh and new this was. One of the first thoughts i had was ‘wow, you can approach a song like this?’ and i felt a lot of pressure about how to make the best use of it. so that must be why i wanted to stay close, it was a totally a different vibe, a whole new vibe. i hope to work again and have another session with the producers and songwriters that we worked with
