One of my first concerts, Billy Preston opened for Deep Purple at the Omni in Atlanta 6-18-73

i sure miss this type of jam and sound, I remember it and get the same feeling, almost 50 years later!

FreeV founder here, had the privilege of filming him multiple times at the China Club Pro Jam in Hollywood & Beverly Hills from late 80's through 'til his passing. Such a cool cat. He always grooved the house to the max. Loved him dearly.

In 1992 my band Naked House opened a show for him at the Bayou in Georgetown Washington DC. He was very kind and played IMAGINE because I was a J Lennon fan. Very talented guy who played with everyone who was someone.
