Byrone would get trounced in a debate format. I really hope Fishback is able to beat him. The very fact that the other candidates don’t want to talk to him just shows you how afraid they are to engage in the ideas. If a politician can’t engage in civil discourse with people he is running against, what makes you think he can have any civil discourse with anyone that doesn’t just fully agree with him? It’s so obvious what they are doing in Florida. Run the candidate, do not let him speak unless in controlled environments, spend a bunch on ads, try to get people to vote for him simply because he hasn’t really made any waves or caused in problems. If the mouth piece speaks, it all goes downhill baby.

One thing I haven’t heard addressed by any candidate is the rampant development that’s happening. This is a huge concern to me and almost everyone I talk to. Large natural acreages clear cut and bulldozed to build huge housing communities of hundreds/thousands of units when there’s a glut of homes on the market already. Wildlife is being displaced, including critically endangered species like the Florida panther. And local infrastructure like water and roads can’t handle it. I have lived here for 35 years and am shocked at what’s happening. I’m not against development by any means, but this seems to be out of control. Can you share your thoughts on this please?

@ByronDonalds Fact, builders are building and by the end of construction 1/3 of the homes on average are bought by Chinese and people from South America. They are turned into rentals, many of them exploiting HUD voucher system for almost twice of the market rental rate.
