Governor DeSantis has given us a great foundation to build on. If Ron DeSantis could run for a third term, I would not be in this race, because Ron DeSantis is the greatest governor in Florida history.

If Ron DeSantis could run for a third term, I would not be in this race. We need someone to rise up and continue the good work he has done in Florida.

I delivered my opening statement at the 2026 FLCA Governors Forum: "This is a race that is not about different men. It is about two radically different visions our state can go in." "I'm going to tell you up front right now: if Ron DeSantis could run for a third term, I would not be on this stage, because Ron DeSantis is the greatest governor in Florida history." "The next governor of this state must preserve the incredible conservative wins that Ron DeSantis and the First Lady have given us. We have to preserve those wins, and when we do that, we can then begin to build on them." "Stop the irresponsible, reckless building and development. Florida is full. Since COVID, Florida has welcomed over 800,000 people from all over the country." "Housing inflation, housing shortages, skyrocketing property tax, property insurance, auto insurance, HOAs, condominiums, your light bill. Everything is out of this world expensive, and the trajectory, it's not going to get any better." "From AI data centers taking your water and your electric bill, to H-1Bs, cheap foreign labor from India and China taking your job, your kid's job, or your grandkid's job. The threats are real." "I am running to be the next governor of Florida as a fourth-generation Floridian, because I believe that Florida is our home, America is our birthright, and no one should ever be able to steal that from us."

Minnesotans are on the hook for another $1B in property taxes next year after Tim Walz burned a $19B surplus. Meanwhile, Ron DeSantis is pushing to abolish property taxes on homestead properties in Florida. And Minnesota Democrats still wonder why people are fleeing to Florida.

Florida Sheriff Grady Judd urges Florida residents to vote ‘No’ on Amendment 3 which would lower property taxes, and ultimately eliminate most property taxes He says the version of the Amendment that was passed by the Florida House and Senate is not the version that Governor Ron DeSantis originally proposed This version lowers and untimely ends most properly taxes but doesn’t provide a safety new for funding for law enforcement The version Ron DeSantis proposed had that safety net in there For some reason it was stripped and the new version was passed by both Houses There is no state trust fund in this bill to make up the funding for law enforcement

My full closing statement for the 2026 Florida Governor's Debate: This election is not about the who. This election is about the what. What vision for Florida do you want? I'm going to stand up and ban data centers. I'm going to fight for our citrus growers and cattle ranchers. I'm going to stand up for your 1st and 2nd amendment rights. I draw my principles from the U.S. Constitution and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What we need right now is a revival in the state of Florida.

🚨 BIG TAX RELIEF COMING TO FLORIDA? Florida lawmakers are expected to vote today on a major proposal from Governor Ron DeSantis that could deliver massive property tax cuts for homeowners across the Sunshine State. The plan would dramatically boost the homestead exemption from $50,000 to $250,000, potentially wiping out property taxes entirely for up to 60% of Florida homeowners. This is real relief after years of skyrocketing home values and exploding local tax hauls (from $32 billion to $60 billion). DeSantis is making the case clear: Florida residents who homestead their homes deserve to keep more of their hard-earned money. The first Governor to eliminate property taxes will be regarded as a HERO! Property tax is theft!
