This is a racist hit piece that benefits these vultures. 30Y in aviation & I’ll tell you, going to a 3rd party vs using TMDX in house fleet is 2-3x more expensive. TMDX will come out on top & I hope Walleed sues the shit out of Scorpion.

Hey Brian: As usual, you have done a great job summarizing the short report AND the investment thesis. A few comments: 1) I think with little doubt that scheduling a transplant operation “electively” during daylight hours SHOULD result in better patient outcomes. There are too numerous articles on doctor fatigue causing medical errors in general so why would we think that transplant surgeons working BOTH day and night would be immune to medical/surgical errors? 2) I suspect this overcharging issue is also related to TMDX essentially taking that transport-related revenue from the hospital coffers because one way or the other, someone is getting paid for transport. Hospitals likely want that revenue. 3) I can see why standardizing the whole process should improve outcomes with organ procurement, etc. It just seems intuitive that a TMDX team churning these cases out day after day, would result in a better organ product for transplant. 4) The fact that these doctors are complaining implies that they DO actually like the product because if they thought there was no value add, they would have moved on with relentless abandon. These issues aside, the short does have a track record for picking its victims and to me, the most worrisome aspect was the actual doctors’ quotes if they are real. As in most short reports, it will be crucial to see how the company responds and if they can refute the accusations with facts. Investors will know that Monday. But they arent the most transparent company out there so shall be interesting to see. If they fail to refute this report with savvy and thorough fact driven responses, there is no need to wait for the earnings report IMO.

Buying more $TMDX here. One could use the same logic of monopoly on $NVDA and short it here!

It just tells me that $TMDX is taking the profits away from the supply chain involved in Organ transplantation to itself. That's business and I can understand why people are unhappy. Is it unethical? I don't think so, but can be argued and debated.

Definitely want to see a very transparent earnings call and figures on customer retention, I think that the business model has promise and offers an important service. A person I’ve talked to raves about the service from the admin side for liver transplants. Watching leadership.

Are you considering the cost of retransplants when saying that $TMDX is more expensive?
