I love umineko but it looks too much like a "umi-clone" for me to be interested in the game, but good luck for the release!

I appreciate your concern and it's totally understandable. However I'm not trying to be better than peak. I simply read this book and decided to adapt it with this inspired art direction and target this audience because I thought people from this fanbase may enjoy it as well 🙂

Yeah I totally get how umi can give birth to ideas and stories, but the first time I saw the game I just had in mind "Umi backgrounds/closed room drawings, Umi truth/lie mechanic, just kinzo popping in the trailer😭" Like the game looks like a forgery without being one yk

I love forgeries, purgatory of the golden witch is absolute cinema, so I might give it a shot, but yeah I have this feeling of just Umi without being umi.

I would've said "don't judge the book by its cover", but also I don't wanna force people to read it lol? Do what you want buddy

I will be there no matter what
