Today, I had the divine opportunity to perform Puja and do the pious 'snan' at the sacred Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj and be a part of the celebration of spiritual rejuvenation at the Maha 'Amrit' Kumbh Mela. A moment of pure devotion & unconditional surrender to the ethos of the Sanatan Dharma, deeply felt in every breath during the holy dip. I express my gratitudes to Maa Ganga for her blessings and that I could visit Maha Kumbh; an ancient tradition celebrated every 144 Years, because in our lifetime we won’t be able to witness the Maha Kumbh ever again. Maha Kumbh Mela is truly a flood of devotion & piety, and I feel blessed to be part of the civilizational phenomena and experience the greatest religious event on the planet. Just be calm, slow down, take your time, don't have to rush. There is no such thing as one particular moment or minute that you have to take a dip. You can take a dip in any of the ghats. When there is a huge crowd. You have to be really watchful"

People have the feeling that they have to go and take the dip in the same spot. Though the government has made elaborate arrangements, there was this unfortunate mishap last night. My concern is that people should not rush. Every day of these 45 days is auspicious and they can take a dip in any part of the river. We have to be cautious when such huge crowds come. Nearly a hundred million people are taking a bath today. It's a thing that has never happened anywhere else in the world..."
