My guy absolutely nails it. Therapy does not help people. I have never met someone who went to therapy and actually got better. I'm sure it does happen, but when I know two dozen people who have tried therapy and all ended the same or worse... That can't be... show more

Eh. My 8 year old went to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for sever (and I mean severe) anxiety. After 6 weeks, the therapist said, "I think we're done. Just use the tools I gave her..." It definitely helped her. Most other things, no, it's garbage.

Several arguments could be made. 1) People had a stronger sense of community. That can help you go through rougher times. Capitalist and individualistic societies have created a loneliness epidemic. Thats a real issue and should not be dismissed or taken lightly.

Respectfully, I served as an operational psychologist in Army Special Operations and some of the toughest men on the planet sometimes had to go see someone to unpack and resolve things. Just like if you break a bone or get an infection, you go see a physician. Nothing wrong with using appropriate resources, especially drug free ones, to develop and grow personally and professionally. Men are stronger when we go through life together.

The evidence I see is that if we really lean in to robotics and technology, it’s is going to raise everybody's wages and make everybody better off. If you go back to when the automated teller machine was invented, everybody said it would destroy the jobs of all the bank tellers. What actually happened is that today you have more people working in bank telling then you did 50 years ago. I don't think we will ever eliminate the construction industry in this country just because you have robots. Why anybody would expect somebody else to pay for them is beyond me. Even if it was a close friend, I would think about it. If it did not happen often and I didn’t think they were trying to finesse me then I would more than likely do it. It sounds like in this case, the friend does this often and doesn’t pay her back. I have a name for someone like this and it’s a moocher. We will all have a friend like this in our lives and I think there will come a time where we have to decide whether or not this is something we are willing to tolerate. I would never do this to anybody else. If I had dinner plans but not enough money, the solution would be very simple, I would apologize and then cancel. I would y tell them why because that doesn’t matter. What matters is that I don’t have enough and I am not going to put my problems on anybody else. Friend’s like that have a short timespan to actually be a friend. I feel that people who do this are taking advantage and they know exactly what they are doing.

Trump: I'm one of the young ones. I'm a similar age to older people. I feel the same as them. I actually feel the same as I did 50 years ago. It's crazy. It's not because I eat the best foods. Who knows what the best foods are. Maybe junk food is good and the other food is no good. I know people that go to a restaurant, they have celery and I'll have steak. Many people, all they do is watch their weight and they kick the bucket and here we are. I feel great.

They're experiencing stuff somewhere else. For whatever reason, they just kind of got run down and cynical and negative, or whatever. Or they're just wired a little different than we are. And I don't to hate on those people. I want to win those people. They don't have to be like me. They don't have to have my energy. But I want those people on my team. I want to love those people. And if eventually they choose that they don't believe in the same things that I believe in, I want to make it really clear and obvious that they don't want to be on this team because we're not about that. You know what I'm saying? I want it to be very easy, obvious, that, ‘Hey I should not be on this team. Because this team is full of very positive people who have great energy and talk to people, not about them.’ And we solve problems. We don't complain. We don't get defensive. We're real. I recognize I'm imperfect and I'm vulnerable to show you that about me. I want to be on that kind of a team. And if there's somebody who doesn’t believe in that stuff, I want to make it really easy for them to say, ‘Look, I don't want to be on this team. I don't wanna live like you guys live.
