My heart is broken😭💔

Humans are quite literally the only mammal that gives it's children over to the care of strangers. Naked mole rats give newborns over to the care of aunts, and yes, there are communities that participate with young ones (elephants, primates), but none to strangers except us.

The kids were all perfectly content until they saw their parent. They weren't sitting there wailing all day. Quit being judgemental a-holes about parents that have to work.

So proud that I work hard and make enough money for my wife to stay at home with our 18 month old son. Couldn't imagine having to leave him in the hands of strangers in this day and age.

Babies cry when their fathers go to work too. Are you suggesting both parents should stay in babys sight at all times and let the family slowly starve to death?

Yeah, I would never leave my child in daycare. Hell no. They are not aware you're returning. This is trauma. I know not everyone has a choice, and that is terrible, but it is trauma to the babies.

I couldn't leave my baby in someone else's care. I was paranoid about it and at the same time couldn't be away from the precious child. It was not easy, we needed money, but I couldn't go back to work, did everything I could to make money from home.

Why are they crying? Doesn’t make sense. My kids never cried when we picked them up at daycare, nor did I ever see anyone else’s kids crying. They were generally happy to see us at pickup and also wanted to show us what they’d been playing with before we got there.

They learned "Missing," ❤️ but why were they all crying like complaining about a caretaker?

Kids that small shouldn't be separated from their family. It is not good for their psychological development. It is not a surprise there are so many mentally ill people in developed countries

these children are crying because they have no idea whether there parents will be returning , or not...they are tears of relief!

Ohh I could never ever leave my babies at a daycare...no money or job is worth that cost !! I loved being home with them !!

Seriously, kids are the only greatest gift to an individual. Forget daycare, I am planning to homeschool my kids! Neither due to insecurity nor that I have luxury to do but I think I owe them a better nurturing than current system can offer them!

Kids that age cry for every reason under the sun. Doesn’t mean they aren’t just fine.

Daycare is cruel and should be illegal.

So grateful I raised my own children. The fact that we've completely normalized paying others to do it for us is one of the great ills of our society.

wtf is wrong with parents Find a partner. Raise them together. At home Daycare should only be for widows and practically no one else

Separation anxiety. This is a sign of a secure attachment with the primary caregiver!
