I agree with much of what you said, but @elonmusk has repeatedly called for ending EV subsidies. Therefore, I don’t believe this was the primary reason for his frustration with the bill. He has genuine concerns about our national debt, but as you noted, his personal attacks went too far. However, your claim is also inaccurate. Additionally, please don’t abandon DOGE just because of this conflict between Musk and Trump. Many people are working diligently to improve efficiency and reduce costs wherever possible. I understand the frustration of not meeting a goal, but finding $1 trillion or $2 trillion in savings in just 130 days is an extremely tall order, especially with so many obstacles hindering progress. I believe that if Musk were the CEO of America with the authority to implement sweeping changes, he might have achieved $2 trillion in savings.
