You can tell Sunghoon genuinely values Jungwon as a leader and understands the pressure and burden he carries, which makes him respect him even more. I think sometimes Sunghoon sees Jungwon as someone far more mature than his age because Jungwon can be so reliable, smart, composed, and trustworthy when things get serious.
