This was built with a spare @arduino pro micro, a rotary phone, and a cheap RJ11 jack. Waiting on a small oled screen to add some more detail to the adapter. Full blog post and project source code coming soon!

This is awesome! 👏 I see you're using ASCII character codes. Some alternative approach that would be super fun would be to rely on the characters on the dial, with a T9-like implementation! 😁 4-4-[pause] → H 3-3-[pause] → E 5-[pause] → L 5-[pause] → L 6-6-6-[pause] → 0

That’s my next goal! Went with pure ascii so I can do brackets and special characters to write code with this 😉
