In 2007 I said a prayer for my soul. I truly believed I was taking my last breaths. The thing I remember most about my words were that they weren’t about me, but my salvation. My feelings weren’t of fear but of peace. I knew exactly where I was going. I can’t say that I feel that now, & that saddens me. I know my relationship with God is mine and mine alone to nurture.
