Mirjana, you talk about a moral failure, but you are the epitome of a moral failure. A 02:00 minutes video and only 2 seconds about the hostages. You failed at your job in Ukraine, you are failing now in Gaza. The ICRC is not much more than a texi service. Hope you will use your power for things that will actually bring real value both in Gaza and in Israel, otherwise you are failing at your job.

Dear Ella, we are carefully following up on all the appeals that have come our way. We acknowledge the deep frustration, and we are monitoring the situation with profound alarm. We are on the ground, supporting our operations, but we also need security and safe access to do more.

Hi @ICRCPresident, speaking of “moral failures”, might you inform us perhaps how many of the Israeli hostages being held captive by Hamas in Gaza, the @ICRC has visited?

The Red Cross ignored severely injured Israeli hostages being held in Gaza, never called for the release of the children held captive by Palestinians, but has the audacity to tell Israel that the human shields used by Hamas are suffering. You say not one word to Hamas to release the hostages and surrender even though they’re the cause of and the solution to this problem.

Good morning Marina, please know that the plight of the people being held hostage is one of our top priorities. We have repeatedly called for their immediate release, and we are also asking for access to safely visit them, to check their health conditions, and to let them communicate with their families. We will continue pushing for this and we will not give up.

This humanitarian crisis, which is real and heartbreaking, can be solved, as you’ve stated, by releasing the hostages. Your organization, the Red Cross, has the obligation to advocate for the protection of both Israeli and Palestinian civilians. For some reason there’s a staggering lack of public advocacy to release the hostages. If you are serious about solving this issue and save all lives in Gaza, this should be your main focus. But it isn’t.

Why don't you refuse to spread Hamas propaganda until you see the hostages? Why are you used as a tool in the hands of murderous, rapist terrorists?

According to the Geneva Conventions, the International Red Cross must visit prisoners of war (not to even mention civilian hostages, like the 10 month old baby held by Hamas) in order to verify the conditions of their detention and to restore contact between them and their families. 2 months have gone by and you have not done this. You could have pushed towards their release, and towards a shorter war. But you have not. You have failed your role by all accounts.

Good morning Alon, please know that the plight of the people being held hostage is one of our top priorities. We have repeatedly called for their immediate release, and we are also asking for access to safely visit them, to check their health conditions, and to let them communicate with their families. We will continue pushing for this and we will not give up.

Wait, so there are over 100 Israeli hostages in Gaza being held by the most murderous terror group in the world, while your organization did absolutely NOTHING to release them due to your "neutral intermediary role", and THIS is the video you chose to post? You failed.
