My new Figma plugin, Vector Fields is out! Create generative patterns with lines, dots, and custom SVGs. It's free and open source and very fun to play with

We need more bespoke tools sometimes to discover what we could design, creating some of these ideas manually would be way too difficult. For instance, here's a 128x128 frame with hundreds of layers in it..

The plugin will stay 100% free! There are definitely some polish items left on the list (better color selection, more features, better UI) but it felt like it was cooked enough to share! Here's a link to the plugin page:

It was very fun to explore some different use cases for it
