James Talarico: My mom didn't get to go to college, but because of Texas public schools, I got to go to the University of Texas. She used to pass the UT Tower and dream about what it was like to go to a school like that. Watching her son graduate right under that same tower—that's the American Dream. That was made possible because of public education, and it's why I fight so hard for our public school teachers and funding.

Maybe I’m weird but I don’t like it when anybody just reaches out and eats off of my plate, I find it rude and I am kind of grossed out when somebody touches my food like that. It makes me not even want to eat it anymore. Is that weird for you too? I have no problem sharing my food, that I don’t mind but the idea of somebody just reaching over and eating off of my plate makes me just want to give it to them and get something else for myself. Growing up without much to eat, when we got food we guarded it because we didn’t know when we would get a chance to eat like that again.

"I think that video for 'I Want To Break Free' shocked quite a lot of people, because they thought we didn’t have that fun element. Even being called Queen… for a heavy metal rock'n'roll band to do that was quite exciting. We got into our roles so easily. My God! I think that’s one of our best videos to date. In fact, it still makes me chuckle every time I see it, and I’ve seen it a lot of times. I’m glad we did it. Hobi about his songs charting: 🐿this is something that has been on my mind for awhile. Of course no artist would ever be unhappy to achieve a high char ranking right? 🐿 but I used this kind of as a shield and to console myself.
