I was proud to lead the fight to secure a major victory for the gun owners in President Donald J. Trump’ One Big, Beautiful Bill. The Second Amendment is not a second-class right. Registration and fingerprinting are inconsistent with our Constitutional liberties, and the NFA is an illegal poll tax used as a piggy bank for the federal government. My provision to eliminate the $200 tax on certain NFA items paves the way for dismantling the unconstitutional National Firearms Act.
