This has always been another part of the episode that I love when Serena’s true identity as the Moon Princess was revealed to Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina as well as the reveal that Darien and her were actually soulmates who belonged together after they found out he was Tuxedo Mask.

I read the original Sailor Moon manga series years ago back in high school. The manga series told an entirely different story which the 1990s anime version of Sailor Moon wasn’t faithful to, at all. Sailor Moon Crystal however is a lot more faithful to the canon stories in the Sailor Moon manga.
