I finally mustered up the courage to attempt my very first Raid in Destiny 2. Naturally I chose Garden of Salvation, because I had only ever heard good things about the players who frequent this Raid. After hours of pain and suffering, we finally defeated the Sanctified Mind, and I was excited to collect my loot and I was ecstatic with the idea of potentially getting the Divinity to drop for me. Unfortunately, on my way to the end chest, fireteam leader Alan Sparks decided to kick me and everyone else from the fireteam. How someone could do such a thing is unthinkable, and the fact that the game allows you to be kicked after an encounter is completed but before loot collected is disgraceful. I hope Bungie sees this post and makes this right, whether that be banning this toxic individual from the game forever, or providing me with my hard earned loot. It sucks to have my very first raid experience ruined due to the heinous acts of one player. Interestingly enough, during the raid he was really good at putting on German, Indian, and Australian accents. A man of many talents!

Together with officers from the Liquor Licensing Board and the National Police today we conducted a raid on a wines and spirits shop that has been operating as a bar and restaurant without valid documents. We have also been receiving persistent complaints of noise pollution from area residents on the establishment. During a previous raid, the owner mobilized goons to confront our officers. We confirmed that the premises still lacked the necessary documents. We took exhibits and arrested the supervisor who will be arraigned in court.

God has made us to go out from ourselves, to experience the splendor of reality. The more we let go of ourselves and our prerogatives—and the less we try to grasp and hang on to things—the more alive we become. Salvation, therefore, has a lot to do with adventure.

It took us two months to begin rebuilding and arranging our home. And we are still burdened with debts we have not been able to repay, due to the overwhelming cost of rebuilding our home. To this day, we are still clearing rubble from inside it. And the answer to the question is no — the house is not safe. On the very first night, pieces of plaster fell from the ceiling onto the bed. We were forced to remove all the plaster from the walls with our own hands. We are still trying to settle and adapt, using every possible way just to live. We still love our home. Even though a large part of it has been removed — the kitchen, the hallway, and part of the living room — we continue to see it as our home, our first and last refuge.
