MY REACTION

Dude, we're brothers from another mother. That was my internal monologue as I bounced room to room with a house full of people here for brunch. Hosting and trying to prep and cook ... one eye on the TV ... snuck off into the back room right after Alabama was in and just wanted to believe and trust, but faith was broken after decades of getting fucked over. I am still so shocked they did it—and it really took EVERYTHING to make it happen; all the outside noise as 95% of the sports media had come over to the Canes side, as well as Duke upsetting Virginia last night—as that whole "no ACC team in" when they're a partner in this process; it all helped flip the scales in our favor. Two decades of just getting fucked in every way possible; man. The 25-year anniversary of FSU getting in over UM in 2000 ... Butch leaving ... the Fiasco Bowl a few years later ... Coker burning it down ... Shalala refusing to fund the program .... a revolving door of third-rate head coaches ... right up through last year with a generational offense and a trashcan defense. Watching this team play it's ass off the past four weeks, doing everything right, getting stronger, coming together, opening up the offense, playing through injuries on defense—both bye weeks burned up by the middle of October and six games in a row; two cold weather road trips to end the year. The deck itself and recent history were not in Miami's favor ... faith absolutely lost when we knew it would come down to the Canes and Irish ... another hose-job on Tuesday night (my daughter's 16th, no less ... had me in a swell mood!) Only to see everything fall into place on the field yesterday and by lunchtime on Sunday the Canes are in? Feels like we've been to hell and back this season—and now we're 13 days from the most-meaningful post-season game this program has played since the 2003 Fiesta. Cheers, man. Gonna get into the Blanton's tonight and enjoy this. Need to get a custom "Irish Tears" glass made.

Dude, 2000 PTSD was killing me all week. That shit crushed me. This was such a simple debate in my head, needed it validated for my sanity as a sports fan moving forward. Thankfully, wifey left house so I was alone, but all three animals were definitely startled. Cats bolted 😆

Amen, brother. 2000 stuck with me for years; 26 years old and still optimistic in that season of life—believing if you follow the rules, do things the right way and take care of business, that justice will be served. Lost early to Washington; won out—beat No. 1 and No. 2, got all those late style point—certainly there'd be no logical debate where Florida State could be above Miami, right? Number-crunching computers couldn't steal it from the Canes to put the Noles in, right? Two years later I'm driving back to San Diego from Tempe with my future wife; didn't say two words—a title stolen in the desert and a dynasty-era team that should've threepeated only got one ring out of it. Said it in a few others threads, but the Irish never hear 'no'—they're the Buddy Revell bully whose never taken a punch; the hot blonde at the bar who gets hit on, drinks bought for them all night and they've never been shot down, or dealt with rejection. Honestly, as shocked as we are that Miami finally saw justice served—these clowns still can't fathom that they got knocked out of this thing; in a million lifetimes "first team out" and "Notre Dame" were never synonymous to them. Thank God this game is just under two weeks away, as it's gonna take me all that time and then some to actually process what we saw yesterday. Like the OBB crew, have lived and died with this thing daily since the SMU game ... and the fact that this team didn't fold (as everyone expected the to), defied odds by winning out, that Mario litreally learned a lesson from that brutal OT loss and changed things up ... and then there's no learn-the-hard-way end to the story, where we go into a toxic off-season ... just mindblown how this turned out as that's just not how it goes for 'The U'. Ever. Until now. Insane.

LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO

@Canesfilmroom Why was I nervous watching when I already knew they were in 😂😂😂

Joey Galloway square head ass was mad as shit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Fuuuuuuuuc&, that sounded just like my house. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🧡💚

I love this!! But………. Its sad how far this program as fallen in my life. This is definitely exciting for all U fans. But damn im old enough to remember the “good ol days”

Let’s go!!!!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

🙌

😂🤣

🔥🙌🔥

My exact conversation with the TV! 🤣 LFG!!! 💪🏻🙌🏻

Lol, i wanted them in as well but it wont matter A&M by 20

Man I’m so pumped right now !

The spirit of competition (head to head) went out the door the moment Miami was at home watching a 5 loss team win their conference! What does ND have to join a conference for if they don’t matter? Miami just proved that, no ACC team should’ve been in

Now we run the table

Lol Mine was very similar

See the point spread didn’t matter now you can quit crying.

😆😆😆😆😆 I'll take light toast with butter, please. 😉👍😆😆😆

Yooooooooo LFG!!!!!

Go Canes!

😆

JMU an Tulane aee awful picks

This is fucking gold dude!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣Your reaction cracked me the fuck up! Go Canes!

Hell yeah. This is great. Happy for Miami I’m tired of seeing ND posts I need more Miami posts please Twitter

Now I want to see some live links of the Notre Dame trolls realizing they are not even worthy of a bowl game.

Holy Jesus!!!!!!
