Wait until you learn there's several Teslas rolling around Austin with no humans inside. The AI is now way better at driving than you are, and it's provable. So there is no risk. In fact, there's a greater risk that I would take control and drive myself. I'm not as good at driving as a robot is, and everybody's going to figure that out real soon.

Anyways, if I take off my glasses, the world is blurry. The Apple Vision Pro shows me reality far sharper than my naked eyes can show it to me, so I'm actually safer wearing the Vision Pro than trying to drive a car without any corrective lenses on. That's what you don't get: the Apple Vision Pro is fucking amazing. And so is Tesla at self-driving. I've driven many thousands of miles without looking at the road, so I'm still here. It's better at driving than you are. That's what you don't get: you're actually worse than I am at driving when my car is driving.

The Vision Pro is always using pass-through, even if I'm looking at Coachella on a screen. The environment around the 2D screen is pass-through. Mostly, I'm trying to make the point that autonomous cars are here and are leading to a new future that people haven't really thought through yet. The glasses arrive later this year, and by the time they do, Teslas will be driving without humans in them. That is what people haven't really wrapped their heads around. We are about to head into a new age of: 1. Computing devices on your face 2. Automobiles that drive themselves They're really good. On the freeway, it's fucking amazing.

I was watching Coachella on YouTube before I put on the Vision Pro, and I was watching the screen. I wasn't paying attention to the road. That's just as dangerous as putting on a Vision Pro and doing the same thing.

My 2019 MX HW3 tried to run a red light last week. It has also within the last 6 months tried to make an unprotected left into a potential head-on collision. This Apple Pro behavior is reckless driving at this point still Robert. For your safety and the sake of your family having a Father/Husband, please keep supervising until Level 5 has been approved for your Tesla. (Regardless of how good it has gotten…)

Someone has to push the limits. The risk is that when you're one of the first, you'll be judged most harshly whether things go right or wrong. The other risks some have pointed out are real. Of course, if things go right enough for long enough, that risk fades.
