My resolution to nullify NPS' rule limiting recreation in Glen Canyon has passed! Conservation and access are not mutually exclusive. I will continue fighting for the people of Utah to have access to outdoor recreational opportunities on our public lands. Thank you House Committee on Natural Resources for the support.

@NatResources Please support Harriet Hageman's bill HR 2773 Landowner Easement Rights. Conservation Easements which were entered into as a tool to "preserve farmland" are instead being used to take farmland out of production. HELP!!

My bipartisan FULL HOUSE Act has passed through committee, bringing us one step closer to restoring the full gambling loss deduction that I have been fighting for over the past year. This is a major step forward for Nevada, our gaming economy, and the workers and families who depend on it. People should not be taxed on money they never actually earned. I will keep fighting to get this through the House and signed into law.

San Francisco’s public school students will now have more access to 1:1 tutors. SFUSD is expanding tutoring to reach 2,700 elementary school students, with a focus on improving third-grade literacy. Thank you to SFUSD and SF Ed Fund, for partnering with our Department of Children Youth and their Families and coming together on this tutoring expansion. And thank you to SF Parents for your advocacy in service of student outcomes. My administration will continue working closely with SFUSD to ensure students have the resources they need to succeed. Far too many children are being left without the support they need to find their voice, build confidence, and reach their full potential. This is not just an educational issue, it’s about fairness, opportunity, and giving every child the best possible start in life.
