You do realize you can just snag them by the tail or scruff right? That box made it way too difficult.

I did grab him in the garage, the box was right there so that’s where he went. When I went back in to get him some dog food he escaped and had to be recaptured

I once made an opossum trap out of three stolen milk crates.

Unless it was already inside the garage, I would leave it alone. Opossums are good, they eat the ticks in your yard and other bad bugs. Now a raccoon is another thought😂
