aww it's all good! you can watch my shin & maya playlist on tiktok or this video i posted on youtube where i shared the important parts of their story; but to keep it short they don't like maya because she's not part of their circle, shin's parents are crazy rich & they wanted to force him to marry their business partner's daughter sujin, but he ran away and married maya instead so they hate her guts 😭

wait, im not sure if you posted it already but is there some lore as to why Maya grew up in an orphanage? Were we parents not close when she was born n they gave her up?

yes you can see maya's lore on tiktok and youtube! but to put it shortly no she wasn't given up by her parents, maya's mom got killed by the organization she used to work for, the organization didn't know she had a child, they took maya and put her in multiple 'orphanages' also her dad doesn't know she exists
