Not your fault the blade was likely installed on the saw backwards - it would be inequitable to only cut with the teeth facing, solely in one direction - to the exclusion of facing backwards. Come to think of it, I may have accidentally committed 'hate speech' in calling it "backwards" & not 'trans positional' or something - my bad...
