My students are not understanding bitcoin. What can I do get them to understand?? Because let’s be real, can you explain Bitcoin to someone who’s never questioned what money is?

@getbasedtv @BTCisla Tell them about the Dutch guy that sold his $300k house for 100 BTC in 2017. Now the house is worth $400k, but he could now buy it back for 4 BTC. This illustrates the deflationary nature of Bitcoin. I mean, it’s just one aspect of Bitcoin that you could help them understand.

@getbasedtv @BTCisla Well one angle is they live off of tourism largely from the US and Canada. If tourists ditch the dollar and start paying in Bitcoin before you're ready to accept it then what happens? Teach them Bitcoin from the POV of the tourist
