I honestly think that they would have made everyone happy with like 1 more big 1st party announcement (like Mario 3D or smash) OR if they actually spent time showing new stuff with OOT. Also the thumbs battle segment was definitely... a choice

Honestly they’re lucky OOT got leaked ahead of time because it would’ve been legendary levels of disappointment with that trailer seeming like a brand new Zelda only for it to be OOT

It was bad enough they went through alllllll 12 sports but then to top it off with a thumb wrestling match was a choice.

I think that the direct was sooo lackluster. Felt like a partner direct showcase. I have not been convinced to get a Switch 2 yet. Mario Kart seemed like it was missing some things and this would’ve been a great time to give it some updates. No new 1st party game announcements 🥲
