My thoughts on Isaiah Evans and getting some playing time. What do you think? 🤔

I don’t think it has to be either/or with Evans and Gillis. Plenty of other coaches run 9 man lineups but Scheyer being his stubborn self won’t run more than 8 even if it means killing the starters.

Fraschilla said numerous times how much Bidunga was going to grow from the minutes he was forced to play last night. I can’t figure out why Jon is so stubborn about this.

If it’s a learning curve on defense which is what we are all assuming Then get him minutes with above average defenders on the court Tyrese Evans Brown Coop Man Switch and talk Or even with Gillis on the court and take brown out if he gets beat he has help

If the point of these games in November is experience and preparation for March, absolutely no reason guys should be playing 35-37 minutes. Playing Coop and Kon 35-37 minutes, no minutes for Evans or Pat, quick hook with CFos seems unnecessary in Nov.

His D cant be that bad. Kon is getting abused by better teams. He single handily gave up 14 points the first 10 minutes last night. Gillis has shown nothing yet.

What is it gonna take for them to finally give Evan’s and Harris meaningful minutes ?

Agreed. Gillis is supposed to be our knockdown shooter and went 1/5 from deep. Saw multiple possessions with great creation to get him an open corner three and he goes 20%. At that point you’re a liability not an asset. His D might be better than Evans, but we need a change.

I’d say he’s almost guaranteed gone unless something major changes. Which i feel it won’t. This is becoming a pattern with Jon
