Yeah I mean I think you guys will be one of the better American conference teams with that offense. The tempo makes life a challenge on the defenses and Veltkamp is a good football player. But your defense obviously didn't stand a chance against Philo, Baugh, VB3, etc

Tempo didn’t actually doom the defense. You are both correct about the double edge sword. But the tackling and scheme was just not good enough to compete tonight. I’m down to slow it down vs premier talent to shorten game but vs American teams, tempo should be fine. Tough to say.

Good game yesterday. Y'all got a good QB, solid Running backs and a really good game plan on offense. Just get your secondary right and yall will do good this season.

Defense can’t miss that many tackles. It’s just that simple. You can’t run an air raid offense with a weak tackling defense. Florida’s obviously going to get their yards and their plays but you have to make the plays that’s in front of you. Very disappointing.
