I feel like this team was expecting to ride some sort of “high” off the playoff appearance last year and didn’t realize it means nothing. Happ is a great example of getting that playoff appearance and now just kind of sliding down in form. They simply need more accountability

Happ had a bunch of really good outs so far this year via line drive but I agree they our completely devoid of any accountability or spirit to the game

Uninspired baseball being played this year. Tough to watch. Need a galvanizing moment. Respect the hell out of Counsell but saying “things will turn” just doesn’t do it for me. Long ways to go, but foundations don’t lay themselves. Trusting the process, Go Cubs 🫡

You da man. I am so sick n tired of hearing ppl say “it’s only April, blah blah blah…”. Let’s face it, I have had it with the attitude of the team, especially CC and some of the “so-called-star players” in the team. I have been a true die hard Cub fan for 50 years and I’m sick!

Last year couldn’t look away it was so good/fun. This year is like holy shit this team is fugly to watch. Just inconsistent. No seaming team leader. Everyone playing iso ball. The chemistry…none. Who is going to be a spark? Someone step up.

Most of the time we can blame 1 or 2 people. This is just the whole team being so ass. Doesn’t help that your first baseman is 0 for his last 30, bullpen smells like my asshole and every top starter is hurt
