Irish language campaigner Dr Pádraig Ó Tiarnaigh has welcomed the Infrastructure Minister's decision to include Irish language signage at Belfast's Grand Central Station, describing it as "resolute action in practice." The An Dream Dearg spokesperson criticized the DUP's opposition to the signage as "reverting the tape" to 2017's "petty decisions," arguing that equal language provision reflects the Good Friday Agreement's commitments and serves the "ever-growing Irish language community" across Belfast.
