The goal is to gradually be able to take my legs higher and control the movement on the way down. A snippet of the Hanging Leg Raise & Knee Tuck combo of which I executed 3 sets and reps till failure. *Pro Tip:* Extend the legs fully every time you come down. The trip to Dallas has been full of emotions After two games in the heat yesterday, Jacob came out of the dugout sobbing. My heart is breaking for my kids. During today’s game, I asked the Lord to give Jacob strength, to let him compartmentalize the game and his grief. He and his nana were as thick as thieves and I wondered if telling him was the right move. He struggled batting today. His last at bat we needed one more run to end the game. He stepped up, swung, hit the ball almost effortlessly 350 feet over the wall. And as any good mother would do, I walked through the thorns and brush to find that ball. And sitting in the middle of the sidewalk, there it was 💜💜💜 Blessings in the pain, that’s the Lord 💜

EA Sports CFB25 released their Sights & Sounds Deep Dive today and I am DISAPPOINTED! The main theme they use in the video is "Every Team Is Somebody's Favorite" and if you are going to make that claim, then I will hold you to it. My favorite school is the one I attended, Baylor University, and it has been clipped and used in both CFB25 videos with a GLARING mistake to anyone who went to Baylor. The Baylor Line is missing! Every year the freshman class gets a Baylor Line Jersey at the Freshman Line Camp before school starts. They spend a week learning about the school, each other, and our traditions which all leads up to getting a gold Line Jersey with your graduation year as the number and your last name or nickname on the back. Once football starts the Freshman show up hours early in their jersey to each home game and wait in the brutal Texas heat to be in the Baylor Line. Right before the game starts the freshman class runs onto the field in a frenzie to get to the other side of the field and form the tunnel that the team will run through. This is a tradition that is so crazy and dangerous that the NCAA outlawed it and grandfathered Baylor in as the one school allowed. The last home game of the season the graduating senior class gets to join the Freshman and run the line one last time in a double sized mosh pit to send them off how they entered. This tradition is near and dear to Baylor student's hearts. I remember my first time running with my roommate and best friend who both were in my wedding years later. I couldn't wait to watch my brother run his first line when he got here, then getting to run my last line at the last home game as a senior with my brother who was a freshman. I still take a video at every home opener to compare the sizes of the freshman classes, and because it gives me nostalgia and is the thing that makes me really feel that college football has started. So, with all of that, I am calling on College Football 27 and EA SPORTS to please add the biggest Baylor football tradition to the game. My favorite game of all time is NCAA 14, and I am literally taking off work July 19th (my birthday as well if that helps) to play this game, I just want it to be perfect. 🙏 #SicEm #Baylor #CFB25

I’m not sure if a lot of people remember this but when Mike Tomlin was a rookie head coach he was so obsessed with practice that he nearly doubled the amount of two-a-days that the Steelers usually had. Ed Bouchette even did an entire piece on this at the time. It was also one of the longest training camps the Steelers had. But after the team faded at the end of 2007, Tomlin blamed himself when most head coaches would likely stay the course and force his players to get used the rigorous schedule. For any fans of Steelers history, staying such a course would likely bring to mind Bill Austin. But Tomlin did what Austin didn’t. He changed his practice schedule. Changed how he approached training camp. Changed what he personally focused on during practice. If you recall, he focused an unnatural length of time on special teams during his 2007 practices but, in 2008, he learned to trust his ST coach. I would guard him like the Spurs guarded Bron: give him two feet of space and dare him to shoot. I had the game-high 19 points 🤝

TeamSESH is dq'd from Challenger Series after qualifying for the event Q4 Game 1 enemy team protests for Kixa's moss based on the attached video as "proof of cheating". One of the guys on the other team admitted to us in dms that the protest was just cuz they were mad they lost. Head admin pauses our next game and makes us open a ticket; he requests moss from each of us. None of us had it for this first game because we agreed with the other team to not run it prior to the game (aforementioned player who dm'd Kixa was his friend). He then requests moss from all of us from our entire qual. I did not run moss on every game, given some games were against ppl I have played a thousand times and did not feel the need. Regardless this disqualification was from me not running moss for this qualifier. The admins did not care that we had provided dozens of previous moss files from our recent win in XGS and OCS. TeamSESH is dq'd from Challenger Series after qualifying for the event Q4 Game 1 enemy team protests for Kixa's moss based on the attached video as "proof of cheating". One of the guys on the other team admitted to us in dms that the protest was just cuz they were mad they lost. Head admin pauses our next game and makes us open a ticket; he requests moss from each of us. None of us had it for this first game because we agreed with the other team to not run it prior to the game (aforementioned player who dm'd Kixa was his friend). He then requests moss from all of us from our entire qual. I did not run moss on every game, given some games were against ppl I have played a thousand times and did not feel the need. Regardless this disqualification was from me not running moss for this qualifier. The admins did not care that we had provided dozens of previous moss files from our recent win in XGS and OCS. Mental Health check in from Seattle over by my Seattle Seahawks training camp stop… PRACTICE BEING PROUD!!! My self talk is all often wayyyyy too negative. The roommates in my head are constantly telling me the worst things about myself. But instead of just letting them run rampant I started doing something to fight back against them. Every morning I now turn on a song and for the duration meditate by telling myself things I’m PROUD of about me. Over and over and over. That’s hard for a lot of us. Hard to the point I had to actually write a list on my phone so I can go back to them when my brain wants to go negative and start beating up on me again. The battle is on-going but I’ve had way more mornings now where I start the day kicking the gray’s ass instead of the other way around. Hope this helps. Let’s keep walking this walk together. Some of my favorite memories of playing games with my Dad. I have a marble notebook (do people still use those?) that 2nd grade me filled cover to cover with a fan fic about my best friends and I being isekai'd up to the Marathon to fight the Pfhor and save the world. I drew the Marathon symbol on every piece of homework I ever turned in. I tried to learn Warhammer 40k so I could play Tau just because their symbol looked like the Marathon logo. I might have been a little obsessed. I can't express how important this IP is to me. And while I'm a sad that extraction shooters aren't really my thing, so my ability to enjoy it is limited, I care so much about seeing this title succeed, so that more people can fall in love with the thing that captured my imagination as a kid.
