Michael Howell says a small Bitcoin position hedges inflation as well as a big gold one, but gold's lower volatility makes it the larger holding "I think both assets are good monetary inflation hedges. The fact is that if you look at crypto, Bitcoin, they're the most liquidity sensitive assets on the planet. They move, you know, many, many fold more for a liquidity impulse compared to gold. So you don't need very much in a portfolio to give you a monetary inflation hedge." "My view is that you've got, what, 3,000, 4,000 years of history behind gold. You've got 15 years or so behind Bitcoin. And therefore, I've got to be more confident that gold in the long term is going to maintain the properties of monetary inflation hedging." "Bitcoin certainly has done it in the last 15 years, and I hope it succeeds. But I think you need both in your portfolio, mixing them by their relative volatility. So it means having a lot more gold than Bitcoin. But both are good, I think."

Why is gold so cheap in Dubai? 😳 Some gold gifts there are made with several kilos of pure gold Gold is also a huge part of the local culture and trade With low taxes and strong competition prices can be surprisingly competitive Dubai really takes the gold game to another level 💰✨

Trump rambles about columns and gold leaf: "The building, it's got good bones. It's got good structure. They wanted to originally cover the exposed steel. It was painted a cheap gold and we turned it into a very expensively painted white, very heavy coat, of very, very, powerful white paint meant for steel, exposed steel. A very different kind of paint, but it's almost like putting a stone over the top of it. And the color is white, shiny white, and it looks a lot of people have commented looks so much better before they had the the steel painted gold, and the gold was very cheap. There's actually never been a paint that's made that will look like gold. Steve will tell you that you can't, you either gold leaf it or use real gold bullion or you use a different color. Nobody's ever been able to make a gold paint that looks real. Little minor thing for the for the media. I'm sure you're thrilled with hearing that, but there's never been a paint. I said someday I'm gonna to discover a paint where you don't have to actually use gold leaf. Gold leaf is a very, very big and expensive process, but it's a beautiful thing, but not when you use paint"

gm gm. today is a special day as i have accomplished something i never thought i would be able to do. i started apes on canvas almost three years ago. i've done over a hundred oil on canvases, from projects such as The Ape Society, Pudgy Penguins, DeGods, among many others. but today, thanks to the painting comissioned by ESCO 🪏, i have done my first ever Yuga Labs MAYC. the paintings are oil on canvas and are framed in a baroque style frame, with about a tenth of an ounce of gold laid into the frames in the form of 24k gold leaf. this particular painting also included a first ever gold leaf applied directly to the canvas to highlight the gold coins dripping out of the ape's eyes. here is the final result, i hope you all like it:

ZEENUNEW ERA ASCENDS #ซีนุนิวไลน์อัพ2026 DMD THE RISE CONTINUES #DMDLINEUP2026 NuNew #NuNew [ROUGH] 🗣️: You've watched this series and also read the novel, right? 🐱: Yes. 🗣️: How do you feel? Because this novel is a work that fans have very high expectations for. 🐱: I'm very happy, very happy to be part of this series. At the same time, I feel that there are many fans of the novel who have high expectations for this work. So I feel pressured as well. But I will do my best within my abilities. Before filming officially begins, I will prepare and study it as thoroughly as possible. Another feeling I have is that I'm very happy to be acting in a feel-good series like this. In the past, I haven't really had many opportunities to act in lighthearted and cute series like this. It feels like I've been away from this kind of genre for quite a long time. Now I get to come back to it once again. 🗣️: This time, we'll also get to see NuNew wearing a flight attendant uniform. 🎤: So cute. 🐱: I've never worn one before. 🗣️: You've never worn one before, right? 🐱: Yes, it's my first time. 🗣️: Your first time.

🚨NEW: Elon Musk says we should do a livestream walkthrough Fort Knox to verify if all the gold is there "There's like 5000 tons of gold in Fort Knox. We all want to see it. This is *your* gold. It's the public's gold. I don't know if it there. We just want to see it and make sure someone didn't spraypaint some lead or something. Part of this is also let's have some fun and it's the public's gold so we have a right to see it. The President seems into it. It should be a live tour, let's open the door and see what's behind it. I'd watch that. What does 5000 tons of gold even look like? Maybe there's some other stuff in there too. Let's audit the Federal Reserve while we're at it!"

Jungkook: Filming a music video in so long will be fun. Anyway, in many ways, this makes me very happy and it’s a huge honor. Singing the World Cup opening song. My voice will be recorded in the World Cup history. It’s such an honor. It made me have lots of thoughts

Auston Matthews described visiting the White House yesterday as a huge honor for him and his teammates, becoming the first U.S. hockey team to win gold in 46 years. He made it clear he is not very political, but viewed the invitation as a great honor regardless of who is in office and hopes moments like this can help bring the country closer together: “We’re proud Americans, and doing something like that, winning a gold medal and representing your country, it felt like a special honor to be invited. I mean, it’s an honor. So it was pretty neat to go there, see everything, and just kind of share that experience with everybody. I don’t like to get political or get into that kind of stuff. Like I said, we’re proud Americans, and winning a gold medal, especially since it’s been 46 years since the men’s ice hockey team has done that, means a lot. The team that wins the Stanley Cup every year gets a White House invitation. I just think it’s something you do because we are proud Americans, whatever your political beliefs may be. Hopefully something like this can bring more unity to the country and things like that. But for us, we believe it’s a great honor no matter who’s in office.” 🎥: Toronto Maple Leafs #LeafsForever

Giannis on being booed at home: "Never. I've never been a part (of it). Kinda new for me. It doesn't change. It's the same thing. It doesn't matter. I thrive through adversity. I thrive when people don't believe in me. Doesn't matter if I'm on the road, if I'm at home, if I'm at my family dinner, if I'm at the practice facility with my teammates. It doesn't really matter. So, yeah, I've never been a part of something like that before, so it was something new for me. I like it though. I love it"

Every part of this address is so perfect. It's direct and kind. It's so professional. Being so clear about every point that needed to be made. And ending it with "now that THAT is out of the way I'd love to basketball" to like....remind them again why they're there--- Like I'm in awe. So well done, P.
