My vibe coded art app hit 100k+ views 🤯 I built this to solve my own problem after spending hours creating assets for my app (with opus 4.5 + rork + pinterest) Didn’t expect so many people to find it useful, it’s so fun seeing your creations!

here's the link:

You should launch this one on the App Store too! 😁

Do you recommend rork or Claude code? I see so many people using both.

i’m using both! rork for vibe coding quickly, claude code for architecting solutions + coding more complex features

nice is that how you would recommend doing it?

This looks really cool! I keep seeing you building different cool stuff with rork, did you notice any particular tasks that it wasn't able to do well?

i’m using the rork toolkit so there were limitations in image gen (unable to generate image with transparent background) - tho this should be solved when i use my own api keys

You mean now for this particular app, but I am asking more in general. I saw that you did multiple games as well, and I bet some other stuff. Was there an idea that Rork couldn't implement or was struggling more than usual?

This is crazy cool

thanks rehan!

Love it!!! This is genius!!

thanks ray 🙌🏼

This is cool. What did you use for the recording

thanks! recorded directly from my iphone

@averycode That's a creative idea, I quite like it.

thanks semih glad you liked it 🫡

Impressive!

final boss

Looks like there's demand for it build it completely and ship it!

That's amazing Avery How do you track the views? And what is rork?

thanks! tracked from x impressions, rork is a tool for vibe coding mobile apps

Oh, X impression does that as well? Like the post impressions, right? And for that tool, I checked out. I didn't expect to find a tool like that. It amazes me how much has app dev upgraded with expo's new features

Interesting! The best apps come from solving your own problems first😃

how many install and users after 100k views

i haven’t published it, was a fun weekend project

any plans for publishing it? you got the validation and i think it's better than self-care app.

it looks so damn cute

thank you 🥹

how fast did you build it?🧐

@paulnekrasov about an hour!

insane

this looks cool and it can surely be useful for making app mascots

yea one of the use cases!

your little apps are always insane of imagination !!

thanks breezy! 👾

Wow, really nice concept! can i recreate it?

Woah, this looks incredible!!! This would be sooo helpful for app design 😄

thanks so much anna ☺️

It is a very good idea So good ideas stands out

appreciate it ziad 🙌🏼

Congrats that’s amazing 👏

thanks thomas!

This looks great! Where can we download it

you can try it on the rork app, here’s the link:

Thanks Avery!

As someone who loves drawing but sucks as pixel art, this was heavily needed. If there was one for pokemon spites specifically that’d be even more baller, might look into it. Thanks for this!

unique concept🤗

Building for yourself first always wins. When you genuinely solve your own problem, others feel it.

So cool Stupid question but I know it says pixelgen. Would it be possible to create something not in the pixel format? Thinking like a logo generator thru scribbles

Love this idea. Are you able to see what your users are creating?

nope but they’ve been sharing here 🙌🏼

How did Pinterest come into play here ?

for ui and art reference :)

Super cool and cute idea

Super nice concept! Congrats on getting amazing traction, that must feel amazing.

appreciate it john! yea really amazing and thankful :)

Is it a web app?

Where can i download this app

opus is surprisingly good at this stuff. curious if it nailed the canvas logic first try or if you had to steer it a lot.

i had to steer it but didn’t take very long

this is brilliant & fun :-)

Hey Avery congrats on the progress it looks promising. Have you published it anywhere like Product hunt or something?
