I use plan mode a lot. Never do one shots. Just follow regular dev patterns and write plan first so you can review implementations prior to building. I never use anything else other than Composer/Grok and it's been working fine for me. You get extra limits for these models.

Heheh no worries, its the wild west stage of things at this point and everyone's still figuring things out what to call things and what works for them ๐Ÿ˜… I think the term will stick tho, as Anthropic released an AI-SDLC playbook, my guess it will pick up in the vernacular soon Where I work we kinda built and adapted our own playbook, beginning with AI-Product DLC and up to the SDLC.. we also named it as such ๐Ÿ˜ Anyways I digress, all I mean to say is that you're doing well, and that you'll see more consistency and stability in your codebase ๐Ÿ‘

At my irl work we have Cursor rules (CLAUDE.MD? I don't use Claude lol) defining code patterns and architecture, basically SWE standards. AI is good with following patterns so that keeps our codebase consistent. We still need to review code/architecture though, I don't trust AI enough to do loop engineering ๐Ÿ˜‚

Alex Neri / Crosse A's profile picture
Alex Neri / Crosse A1 month ago

Yah true, loop engineering is still something not easy to do... If you're token-rich you can just give Claude Opus 4.8 a rubric to critique PRs and you're set For enterprise where you're paying API rates it's atrociously tough to balance quality vs cost ๐Ÿซ  Tbf, it took us almost an entire year of experimenting to get it to a useable degree, and building an "inner harness" inside of Cursor made it easier to scale PR reviews But yep, final human review an approval still is needed, we made it a point that the person still is accountable for their agent's output ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Mira Luna ๐ŸŒ™โœจ's profile picture
Mira Luna ๐ŸŒ™โœจ1 month ago

We used to look at Cursor analytic page to see who used the most token. Now being on top is like a symbol of shame. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I don't work in a SAAS company but our work is systems critical that we have to go back and forth to get so many feedback/validation prior to release and there are a lot of gotchas with how our legacy systems are setup. Loop engineering is good with Fast Waterfall/product releases but I don't think it will ever work for me. ๐Ÿซ

I've been building a music player with Next.js for fun. Here's a quick demo of how it works (it's open source!) โ€ข Demo: โ€ข Code: If you want to learn more about how it's built, here's more details โ†“ I'm using Postgres (with Drizzle) to store information about the songs and playlists. Audio and image files are stored in Vercel Blob (object storage), and the URLs are then referenced in the database. For the UI, I'm using shadcn/ui (so Tailwind CSS and Radix). This made it easy to copy/paste in some nice components, like the dropdown menus. I built the entire first version of the UI in v0 and then iterated from there, feeding it my Drizzle schema as a source in the project and having it scaffold some of the boilerplate for me: I added support for keyboard navigation (using arrow keys) or vim motions (j/k to go up/down, and h/l to go between playlists and tracks). Also, space to toggle the now playing song, and / to focus the search input. The search function has a nice utility to highlight the currently searched text on the page in yellow. Then, I was exploring how to pass metadata from my application to macOS or iOS. Turns out there's an API for that โ€“ MediaSession. Web apps can share metadata about what media is playing (title, artist, album artwork) and sync play/pause/seek with system media controls. Works across modern browsers โ€” even integrates with iOS dynamic island and shows up on lock screens: I set up my app like a PWA โ€“ it has a manifest.json file, so it can be installed to my iOS home screen or added to my dock on macOS. On iOS, it then uses the full screen height `100dvh` (dynamic viewport) and has padding on the bottom for the safe area with the `env()` CSS function. Finally, I was able to use the Vercel AI SDK in a script to clean up the metadata on audio files I downloaded from YouTube. Bonus: I even was able to dogfood the React Compiler, which helped me fix a performance bug! That's all! It's fun to make personal software:

Here is the first look of the Financial Model for Pakistan Stock Exchange we have built. At this moment, I don't know if it will be successful or not. Yet it's backtesting has given promising results. I believe it is real time and future testing that matters the most. To make it transparent, I will keep on updating on "X" the top picks from the Model. I request you not to invest a single money based on it's results because it is in the early stage. Every feedback from your side would be highly encouraged. The problem was that investors only see MARI, FFC, ,OGDC PPL, MEBL, Luck like companies because they are mainstream. But remember that there are 457 listed companies and there are some hidden gems that are usually missed by retail investors like us. One such example was SSOM that just exploded in few weeks. Thats why, the purpose of the model was to find those companies that have a lot of potential but are not covered by any brokerage house and yet there results are excellent. Based on this model, some time back, I added positions in companies like AGIL (Agri Autos) SPEL (Synthetic Papers ltd), NATF (National Foods), KSB Pumps, Treet. Because scores of all these companies is excellent. They remained stagnant for long time so my conviction on the model was also declining. But it were last two weeks that made a difference and so was my own conviction on this model. Big names like Wealth โšก๏ธ Wise Value Investor Doctor in PSX Tayyab ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ are already aware of it. On Thursday I added HCAR. I will keep you updated just for testing purpose I again repeat not to invest. I will risk my own money. If it is successful, we intend to make a website where you all have access to this data. How it works and how to read it, I will explain it to you in a separate thread.

** Mega Parodius Update ** The team have been busy over last couple of weeks , implementing more of the games engine. WIP since last update : White Bell power up ( this is the text attack ) Blue Bell power up ( full screen explosion ) Catboss & animating Trees Updated Lazers to work on the BGB layer ( Plane A updated to 64x64 tilemap ) . Pyron has been doing excellent work on Blue bell Explosion, Whitebell power up text gfx - the slogans are great !! Arcade quality tree animations have been added. Feeding me a lot of videos so we can replicate the arcade port more accurately. Vector Orbitex has updated the music to mark IV for stage 1 making it smaller yet again , he's also added the Orchestra Hit in , potentially more samples can be added back in now also as the song now is a miniscule 57 kb. I keep telling him its 2025 - not 1990 for rom sizes haha , a professional is always a professional though !! The Blue Bell power up uses the static large sprite class I made for SOTA where it supports unlimited amount of sprites per object and detects all the reverses / flips & uses the same tile pointers where it can and crunches it down into single sprite object. We use up to 40 sprites in the Explosion but only 147 tiles needed in vram thanks to clever use of mirroring. The Catboss is easily the hardest enemy in the level for a few reasons - we also had to free up Plane A so the boss could shift upwards onscreen, so lazer effects were shifted to Plane B. The bit that caused me the most issues was when he sits in the water line between the two islands. He is quite wide and also has overlapping palettes and animating parts , to do it solely with sprites would have lead to severe dropout at times. At the waterline we have to simulate 3 background planes and sprites at that point and we only have 2 background planes. Luckily the MD sprite engine is very flexible and we were able to recreate the arcade look at this point with some sprite trickery, the water-line is now sprites . So we use Plane A + sprites to recreate him and use a lot of plane animation to reduce the amount of sprites needed. For example the face, the tail the propeller are all plane A animations . I analysed the SNES/PCE versions and we use less sprites than those versions for him so that will help reduce the chance of sprite dropout when attacking. The Catboss is only about 1/2 done , all damage states, the onboard penguin factory, bullets from Cannons yet to added etc. He wraps around at the end of the vid as theres no destruction routine in for him yet . No extra enemies in at this stage , tackling the hard parts first etc. We took the arcade GFX for the Trees that sway around under the Catboss, all the animations are in. There were some DMA bandwidth issues originally I had to sort out as the Catboss has several animating parts + swaying Trees was leading to overload so after some load balancing it all is playing nicely !! We still have loads of stuff to add , collisions are not in - normal enemy waves etc but yeah a lot of future issues were sorting out just getting this far. So the team is very happy with the progress !! #SGDK #Parodius #SegaGenesis #SegaMegadrive #indiegame

Today is World Protein Day. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness among people to increase their protein intake. It's a bit of a long read. When I started my mission of โ€œProtein Kidhar Hai?โ€ back in 2018, I got backlash from many educated and literate people, saying I was pushing for whey companies and harming people's kidneys. However, to date, we havenโ€™t seen anyone come to me saying your protein campaign put me on dialysis. Anyway, Today, after 6-7 years, I am seeing a significant change on X and other social media. Everyone is talking about protein. Many senior citizens on my timeline also upped their intake, many women are now taking care of it, and many parents are making sure their kids are eating enough protein. Though we still get names called by some ignorants like protein-jeet and proteinmaxxers, we are proud of it. Collective, you me, are pushing everyone around us to eat more protein and removing the โ€œprotein deficientโ€ tag from everyoneโ€™s plate. I just released a video on YouTube explaining how much protein you really need, as well as how much your parents, your kids, and your significant others need. This video is end to end scientifically proven and I have added all possible research and evidence for naysayers. Watch full video here: Happy Protein Day to everyone breaking all the traditionalism and conservatism of insufficient protein. Happy Protein Day to everyone who has fought with their people constantly for years to change their food intake habits. Be a proud proteinmaxxer!

Congrats to EloShapes.com on their launch! On a similar note, is out of beta and available to the public. A lot of you have been asking me what my plan is now that EloShapes is also doing 3D scans... the answer is: nothing changed! I think that competition is good. I'm a mouse nerd and a LONG TIME EloShapes user, so the more options I get as a user, the better. I really think that my vision and EloShapes, though, is fundamentally different. I've had the domain for FMM for years, I have a much larger platform in mind compared to what I built so far. The 3D scans are the necessary step for my vision, not the end goal: they never were. I am also very proud of the fact that I've been able to scan at least 5 mice in full color EVERY DAY with my own pipeline, and I think I will easily have almost full coverage of the mice people would want on the website within months. Check the video for the mice I've added in just the last few days, all textured. Apart from some of the features I've mentioned before (like the virtual hand/grip), FMM is meant to be kind of a "MyAnimeList" for mice, so that you can share your profile, like this: and then later on leverage this curated list of mice you build for yourself to be shown even more mice you might like. FMM is also a tool for reviewers and anyone that wants to share their opinions on mice. Links like this: allow you to easily share your specific points about a mouse via the annotations, viewpoint sharing and measurements. And of course, as I've said since the beginning, I will use FMM to centralize all my hard testing about sensors, dpi, and such, so that you'll be able to find EVERYTHING about a mouse, including the raw results of my standardized sensor implementation testing. So, with this said, I will keep scanning as many mice as possible and adding as many features as possible until FMM becomes what I envisioned so long ago. Join my discord if you want to keep up! I hope you'll all give it a try! Ciao!

** MEGA Parodius Scaling Effects Part 2 ** Well - this is the BIG one - literally !! Huge thanks to my team Pyron & Vector Orbitex for their efforts. Pyron has provided all the source frames for Puyon and his spikes / explosion and a lot of analysis video on how the spikes behave / move which was really helpful. Pyron also used his CRT setup for this video as we felt an emulator video would not do it justice - running on 100% real MD hardware FTW. Vector has provided the catchy boss music and its sounding great - as always ! The coding on this has been a bit insane - things done since part 1 post previous: Implemented dual buffering - Last video was single buffered - so VRAM is very tight now , we only have about 40/2048 tiles free. For the longest time I didn't think it would fit - I found a vram jigsaw puzzle that made it work in the end. Double buffering has cleaned up the stability of the animation and matches the arcade scaling effect now albiet costing 2x more VRAM . Vertical Scaling Implemented - the vertical scaler was taken from Lufthoheit ( my other shooter ) and its heavily optimised to reduce cpu usage. During the scaling the vertical scaler partitions the 68k processor registers into 2 sets, 4 registers are allocated to feeding the fast horizontal interrupt (h-int) that drives the vertical scaling , remaining 12 registers are for the horizontal scaler running in the background. This setup is much faster than normal backup / restore register methods, as we do not need to backup / restore registers in the h-int which would double CPU costs. The catch is the momment any background routine tries to use the H-ints registers it would break things so it has to be carefully timed. Added the spike projectiles - this was very tricky to get close to the arcade, they are semi heat seeking missiles basically and hence needed code that worked out angle differences to player at speed theres no time for arc-tan or similar so it uses faster lookup tables to work out the angles . They speed up over time and get larger and whats more we can't keep all the scales in VRAM - we have room for 2 spike buffers only. Also what was a real pain was working out scaled coordinates for the circular launch of the spikes . Added Fish Damage - Shock frame and Explosion frames from Arcade . Very proud of the fact we have the full arcade quality explosion is which is fully scaled also. Added Temporal Masking - which is fancy wording for don't draw nothing to buffer if nothing is there already there for the scaling . So empty Corners and edges can be optimised out to lower cpu costs and rom costs. I had to make some scripting for this and work out what areas did not need drawing at all in the frame, which should be force cleared by cpu and which areas should just be copied from rom. This reduced rom size by 30 kb and with a bit more work we could extend that to 60 kb & get a bit more speedup even doing so. Added a frame limiter . In the last video update we let the 68k burn hot and just pump out frames as fast as it could - here we match the arcade animation rate which does leave the cpu idling at times , particularly in the smaller frames - even at large though we could be running the animation 25 % faster , issue is though that would speed up the game logic and make it less arcade accurate. We had some real bullet / Spike hell simulations going without the limiter but yeah we had to tone it down a bit. Maybe in a hardcore mode we could let it run wild though ! Code is 95% 68k assembly with about 5% C code (v-int as its cold path ) driving things . This sort of thing needs all the speed it can get !! Well now after all that I can return to finish off Level 1 haha - just a wee sidetrack there . No doubt we will polish stage 8 boss some more in time too !! #SegaMegadrive #SegaGenesis #Parodius #SGDK

Founder and CEO of Cassator Corp, Dmytro Ivanov, addressed the community and shared the latest news about the Sl8 project. For your convenience, a text version of the video message has also been added below. ยฉ Hi everyone! I finally had a chance to record a few video messages for you, especially for those who are upset about the price drop or feel that nothing is happening with the project. I want to explain what is happening now and what we are planning to do next. Once again, greetings from Austin, Texas! Let me start with the most obvious point: the price has indeed fallen, and quite significantly. I do not know who is selling tokens at such a price, but I have also occasionally had to sell some of my own tokens when I needed money for various expenses. So I understand why people do it, although, of course, I now regret my own sales. Now let me tell you what we continue to work on and what comes next. First, we are preparing our company to attract traditional investment from angel investors and venture capital firms. Over the past few months, we have significantly updated our website and prepared a professional pitch deck. We are now finalizing a detailed financial model, projections, and other materials required for due diligence and for having meaningful discussions with potential investors in a language they understand. I also want to tell you why I feel that I have been very lucky lately. I live in a skyscraper where several concierges work. I became good friends with one of them. I told him about my company and what we are working on. I also helped him send money to his relatives who live far away through Binance without spending a large amount on fees. That is how we started talking more and became friends. A few months ago, I was picking up some packages from him when he suddenly asked me, โ€œListen, there are some investor events taking place here. Would you be interested in meeting the people who attend them?โ€ I replied, โ€œOf course Iโ€™m interested. Tell me more.โ€ He then sent me the contact details of the person who organizes these events. I reached out to him, and we arranged a meeting. During our conversation, it turned out that we not only lived in the same building, but also on the same floor, just a couple of doors apart. We immediately found common ground and got along very well. I told him what we were working on and why our project was interesting. He was very impressed because our startup is truly unusual and stands out from the other local projects. In terms of scale, we are dozens of times larger than many of them. We met several more times, and eventually invited him to join our team. He is now our Head of Fundraising. He helps us prepare all the necessary documents and build the entire investor relations process: how we will organize meetings, present the company, and position the project to potential investors in Texas and beyond. That is the latest news. I believe we were genuinely very lucky because he is extremely proactive and has direct, personal connections with real investors rather than just remote contacts. His network includes millionaires and even several billionaires. One of them has a net worth of around four billion dollars, and he knows these people personally. I have already attended one of these events. We are now in discussions with several potential investors and have already made some promising progress that could bring us strong results. So we continue moving forward in this direction. We already have potential candidates to launch on our human tokenization platform. These could be truly large and significant launches, but bringing them to life will require a substantial budget. After the launch of my token, we understand that every new project must be prepared and executed at the highest possible level. We cannot allow a situation where something goes wrong or the launch fails to gain proper momentum. That is why every new launch must be thoroughly prepared and have the strongest possible chance of success. So we already have promising candidates to launch, and now we are preparing to raise funding. The last time we raised money from traditional investors in exchange for equity, rather than through crypto, was more than four years ago, almost five. Wish us luck. I believe we will have great news very soon, and it will be important for you as well.

** Sega Genesis 3D Engine Day 3 ** Blast Processing kicks In !! Converted the Line Drawing and Triangle drawing to 68k Assembly and gained 25% in the line drawing and 33% speedups in the triangle drawing vs C ( so far ) . The scheduler calculating the vertexs is still in C , just the drawing routines are now are in assembly . Possibly 5-10 % gains will come from the scheduler being in ASM also. The Line and Triangle drawing C code took some beating , it was surprising - particularly the line drawing to get a speed up over the C code in ASM. I guess its not too surprising as the C code was basically handling pointers and integers so I had to get exotic to find the speedups. Initially my ASM Line draw was 100% slower than the C code - the first pass conversion from C to ASM is always rough as its more about getting it working then refine later , but yeah 100% slower on first pass was brutal, after 4 hrs tweaking it was 25% faster than the C code so thats a good start - might get more yet. So added more squares and more triangles for load testing at the same frame rate. Its still not anything cohesive but right now focussing on performance in rendering to see how much can be pushed. As rendering will be the biggest cpu soak the faster that goes the better. The smaller triangles take about 1/3 the CPU time of the larger triangles at present so theres definately a fill rate limit vs the setup time to consider. The same would go for the squares been line framed - smaller ones would allow al lot more . #SGDK #SegaGenesis #SegaMegadrive

A horrific expose on the murder of Palestinian prisoner Tha'er Abu Assab, a Palestinian prisoner at Ketziot prison by guards in November 2023 appeared in Haaretz today. Among the most damning evidence in the case are the texts of one warden, Oshrit Aliga, who as you can see in the video inlcuded here was literally the poster child for the Israeli Prison Services. Here are the texts verbatim: On the night Tha'er Abu Assab, was murdered, she texted a friend: "Sweetie, here is an update for you, he's dead now." She added that she was "very happy and satisfied, but it's a mess right now. There was a lot of blood and they broke them." Follow-up clarification to her friend: "It'll be fine, I'm glad it happened. I'm ready to put my career on the line for this, I'm at peace with it, all of us are. The commander knew something like this would happen. he told us in the briefing and also asked, whoever feels they can't handle it should say so, because he really wanted to break them. I'm really fine, but you know how it is, investigations and all that mess." WhatsApp exchange with her friend, December 2023 (re: new detainees arriving): "They brought some Amalek-son whores down in the middle of the street, sitting there on the ground with just underwear and blindfolds on. I'm already getting myself and the shift ready to receive them for Shabbat, we will give them a proper Shabbat reception." Responding to her friend's joke about her baton: "My club is fine, after a fair number of disinfections." "Imagine me and you in a cell with two prisoners cuffed hand to hand, and the shift commander tells us 'go ahead, cut loose', sweetie, I swear you'd have enjoyed it here with me." When her friend asked if she physically hits them: "I wish I had a way to prove it to you, to show you something, I swear to you, sis, I break them apart. You've never known me like this. [This is] routine. [When the] next round comes, if I haven't cracked one of his kidneys, as far as I'm concerned I'm not going into the wing." WhatsApp exchange with her domestic partner, corrections officer Tamer Trudi, same month: "We got another 70 whores from October 7th. Each one of course got a personal welcome, and some got a joint one because of the [limited] supply of handcuffs." After Trudi replied "Haha, how nice that there's always a welcome": "And since we were already tired from hitting them, the commander took off his belt and undid it on them. And the screaming , like females โ€” at minimum they're a punching bag." Watch the video to see her enthusiastic physical training that allows her to murder and torture inmates. She has not been charged for her crimes despite the overwhelming evidence, though others have for that murder.

Here is the Geometry Nodes Weighted Normals with Laplacian Blur on a full character (a vroid). It easily improves the shading even on game topology with almost no setup. I built this as part of my quest to improve real time toon shading. 3D anime models are popular, but use of dynamic light is rare even among high quality vtuber models. This is for several reasons, but a big one is simply that it takes a lot of Custom Normals work to make 3D cel shading not look like a jagged mess (other pieces of the puzzle are issues like deformations, multiple lights, etc). And fixing Normals is tedious, especially on existing game topology. I have focused on proxy meshes for priority areas like character faces, but they aren't an efficient solution for the whole body + outfit. I wanted something I could just throw on any model and make it at least not a jagged mess anymore even if it wasn't perfect. As you can see from this clip, this does that very well! And vertex groups can be used to control the style of the effect and power. It still can't smooth beyond what the topology density can support, but the topo itself is no longer a problem (for higher res, could be run on a subdivided version of the model and then baked to a Normal Map.) The only changes I made to this model were adding a weld modifier to merge split edges during interpolation, and a vertex group to select the skirt. I have not yet added full handling and logic for detecting edges with big angles like the skirt, or for handling boundaries like on the hair, so both those areas can get better too. You can also see that while it successfully smooths out the Face, it isn't really stylistically correct there. That is still best done with a proxy mesh to define a new shape. This is part of the tools I am working on for Fondant. We are putting together a Blender Addon to release this + a proxy mesh tool for the face, and are working on resolving other problems in-engine to fully bring dynamic light to real time 3D toon shading. Give us a follow, and send them a DM if you are interested in testing these tools as they develop!

Sigh. I just had the credits roll in Pokemon Legends ZA, after 41 hours (i did a lot of side quests) You guys KNOW I am a HUGE Pokemon fan, always been. I grew up with the franchise and it was one of my biggest escapes growing up. I loved Scarlet and Violet, I LOVED Legend Arceus. Pokemon Legends ZA is.. so bad though. The story? Could have been a post main game storyline, barely any substance, barely anything of value. The main story is just the aftermath of X&Y. Some of the side characters stories is nice, otherโ€˜s is just annoying or forgettable. Character designs: Mixed opinion, some designs are peak (corbeaue), some are just blatantly awful and an eyesore (jacinthe). Map: ehhh, the map LOOKS small, doesnโ€˜t feel small though. BUT if you take Legend Arceus in comparison, itโ€˜s like 1/4th of the size if even? The parkour is done SO POORLY. Itโ€˜s boring and tedious. Looking back at Legend Arceus where you could literally climb mountains, swim and fly, the map traversal is just done poorly and boring. I get that they removed ridable pokemon because then the map would have instantly felt even smaller, but thatโ€˜s just an issue the pokemon/gamefreak created for themselves. They decided to have the game ONLY in the capital of Kalos. They also could have simply made the map bigger lol. Gameplay: PERSONALLY I donโ€˜t see why people are praising the gameplay that much, maybe because itโ€˜s finally something different? Itโ€˜s alright in normal 1v1 battles, easily becomes unreadable if thereโ€˜s multiple parties partaking (think mega battles before the final boss) The rogue mega battles LOOKED good, and they had a good idea, but WHY is the dash button on B, which is tied to the battle commands. Same for dodge being on the Y button. Bear with me, the rogue mega battles are done in a giant arena, and you have to DODGE and RUN a lot, while also ATTACKING the rogue mon. You you can only do ONE, attack, by holding down the left trigger and your A B X Y buttons transform into your moveset, or run and dodge. Just from a game design aspect, this is awful. And donโ€˜t get me started on how buggy the gameplay is at times. Sometimes the trigger button does not even give me the attack moveset? (No its not my switch 2, tested on both switch 1 and 2 with both versions of the game) Right before the final part, my team is around lvl 65-70 and I more or less one shot everything. Now (and spoiler warning) multiple megas attack you, you fight alonsgide NPC trainers and the screen becomes so unreadable and my pokemon just get knocked out one after another? Idk if this is a skill issue, but the sudden spike of difficulty and the cluttered screen made that part really unfun. Final boss was justโ€ฆ awful. Two giant flowers appear, you have to knock them both out, but their damage is ridiculous, and they are super tanky. Then scene switch to Zygarde attacks Ange Floette, and repeat this for like 3 times. The rest of the fight also is just bad and boring. At least the cinematic looked pretty. The alpha pokemon that randomly appear are nice, but nothing of value was added by adding them. (Alphas were a HUGE story part in legend arceus, here it seems they are just throwing players a pity bone) The pokedex quest seems like it wants to be legend arceus so bad but it just misses the point. Legend arceus pokedex felt fun and enjoyable, legend za feels tedious and annoying. Shiny Hunting in this game is SO BORING. No sandwiches, no mass outbreaks, you just reload the area by fast traveling or resting at a bench. Canโ€˜t talk about competitive. yet cuz I havenโ€˜t gotten to it. Finally, this game is a 3,5/10 to me. If anything it made me wanna play Legend Arceus again

1/2 Today I completed my second Plasma Adsorption session at Edogawa Hospital in Tokyo under Dr. Kato. ๅŠ ่—ค ใ—ใ‚‡ใ˜ใ‚ ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต I want to explain exactly what this treatment is, why it is the most targeted blood filtration available for vax and long COVID injury, and why the options currently available in the United States. While helpful for some, these do not reach the same depth of selective removal and cannot produce the same results. Here is how it works. My blood is drawn out through a catheter in my neck. The plasma is separated from my blood cells and run through a column called the IMMUSORBA TR-350, made by Asahi Kasei Medical in Japan. Inside that column, the pathological antibodies and immune complexes circulating in my blood bind directly to the column material and are captured. My own cleaned plasma is then returned to my body. No donor fluids. No foreign proteins. Just my own blood cleaned and returned. This is not new. This device has been used in Japan since the 1980s with published clinical studies dating to 1984. It is an approved medical device used to treat myasthenia gravis, Guillain-Barrรฉ syndrome, multiple sclerosis, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, neuromyelitis optica, and NMDA receptor antibody encephalitis. Every single one of those conditions is driven by the same mechanism destroying vax and long COVID patients โ€” pathological antibodies and immune complexes attacking the nervous system and vascular system. Now here is how it compares to what is available elsewhere. TPE โ€” Therapeutic Plasma Exchang is the closest option available in US hospitals. Your plasma is removed and thrown away, then replaced with albumin solution or donor fresh frozen plasma. The problem is it removes everything indiscriminately โ€” the bad and the good. Your own clotting factors, your beneficial proteins, your healthy antibodies all go out with the pathological ones. It also requires large volumes of donor substitution fluid which carries infection risk and protein allergy risk. DFPP โ€” Double Filtration Plasmapheresis โ€” is widely used in Japan and Asia and is now being offered in Europe for long COVID and vax injury patients under the name INUSpheresis. It uses two filters and is more selective than TPE. It returns your own purified plasma to you and requires minimal substitution fluid. However the manufacturer's own documentation states it is still semi-selective, meaning some beneficial components of similar molecular size to the pathogens may also be lost in the process. INUSpheresis is not yet available as standard clinical practice in the United States, though one clinic is currently participating in an early clinical trial toward FDA approval. H.E.L.P. Apheresis โ€” Heparin-induced Extracorporeal LDL Precipitation โ€” is available in Germany and Cyprus and has been proposed for long COVID. Here is how it works. Blood cells are separated from plasma, heparin is added, and the pH is lowered using an acetate buffer. This causes LDL cholesterol, lipoprotein(a), and fibrinogen to precipitate out and be captured in a filter. The excess heparin is removed, pH is normalized, and the cleaned plasma is returned. It reduces LDL, Lp(a), and fibrinogen by approximately 50-60% per session and has shown benefit for improving microcirculation and dissolving forming microthrombi. It is not available in the United States. The important distinction from PA is that H.E.L.P. works by chemical precipitation and primarily targets lipoproteins and fibrinogen. PA works by molecular affinity bonding and specifically targets pathological antibodies and immune complexes. They are removing different things through completely different mechanisms. For vax injury driven by pathological antibodies and immune complexes, PA is the more directly targeted tool.
